I write fanfiction! When I am not putting my imagination into words, I'm most likely playing Nintendo or watching reruns.

Author’s note: this is sooo many days late, but I finally finished a response to a prompt from the microfic challenge posted by @fortressofsuper ! Yay! Here’s hoping I’m able to write more lol.
“Clark, what the he-”
“Don’t say h-e-double hockey sticks, Lois, you know how I feel about that,” Clark quickly interrupted from somewhere across his apartment. She couldn’t quite make out where he was exactly, thanks to what had to be hundreds of balloons blocking her view of him.
Lois snorted, attempting to swim through a field of bright pink balloons to get to him, “Oh, I know exactly how you feel about that word, especially if I say it when you’re-”
Clark zoomed to where she was, and wrapped a hand around her waist, pulling her into him. “I get the idea,” Clark chuckled, shaking his head at her, “but I need you to behave now, I’m kind of busy. In case you hadn’t noticed.”
“See, when you say “kind of,” that means there is room for distraction,” Lois replied, snaking her hand up his chest and around his neck as she reached up on her tip toes to capture his lips with hers. Clark melted instantly, making Lois giggle into their kiss. It was her favorite joke to make- that she was his real Kryptonite, and that the green rock had nothing on her power over him.
“You’re not funny,” Clark mumbled onto her mouth, reading her mind.
“I’m a little funny,” Lois replied, “I’m definitely funnier than you.”
“That’s debatable.”
“You sure about that, Smallville? Cause,” Lois pulled back from Clark, smirking up at him, “we can put it to the test, if you’d like. I’d love to rob you of that HS debate trophy.”
“Eh,” Clark’s lips straightened into a thin line, his eyebrows furrowing up as he tilted his head at Lois and said, “I don’t think it’d be that easy.”
“See, but there’s what you think, and there’s what I know,” she teased, laughing when she caught the way his face stiffened. He was so easy to rile up sometimes. Okay. All the time.
“I have to get back to setting up now,” Clark muttered, shooting an awkward smile as he zoomed back to his work corner near the TV.
“Jesus, Clark,” Lois swatted around her, trying to follow him through the balloon maze, “how many of these have you blown up already?”
“457, and counting,” he proudly replied, clapping his hands together, “oh! And look at this, look at this- the lady at the party store gave me this special spray that makes the balloons all sparkly and shiny, look-”
“Clark, I thought we talked about this.”
“We did, but uh… well,” Clark grinned at Lois, “I decided this was a good idea.”
“She’s going to hate it.”
“She loves parties.”
“Yeah but, Clark… pink? Sparkles?”
“You’ll see. Kara’s gonna love her welcome home party. I’ve thought of everything,” Clark said smugly.
Lois smirked and shook her head. “I’m not sure you have. Krypto is gonna go ballistic when he sees all of these.”
Clark’s face grew dark. “Oh, heck,” he muttered.
“See?” Lois laughed. “There’s what you think and what I know.”
It’s a one year anniversary, that only Lois remembers. There’s home cooked meals, lingerie, and flying. They banter. They kiss. Superman makes a super appearance and Lois attempts to be as cheesy as her partner.

Coffee + Sunshine
Superman landed on the roof of his apartment building. He sniffed and wrinkled his nose. He turned his senses to locating the source of the smoke. With a panic, he speedily plugged the code into the lock on the skylight and flew down to find a light smoke covering the apartment.
“Lois!” His voice called in strain. He x-rayed the apartment and found her in the kitchen. “Lois!” In a second he was beside her. He flew her out to the balcony just as fast. She coughed. “Breathe, Lo. One sec.” He stepped back inside the apartment and with a large breath inward, he collected all the smoke and in a blip of color was out the balcony up high into the sky. He blew the smoke out then was back next to Lois in seconds.
“God, this sucks,” she grumbled, pressing a hand to her chest.
It was then that he noticed her attire. She wore a short, purple chiffon and lace robe tied loosely at the waist. Her matching purple lace bra and panty set he could see through the chiffon fabric, without his x-ray vision. “Lois!” He yelped and tucked his cape around her.
Lois laughed. “Noticed, have you?” She looked over her shoulder at him with a grin.
“I was busy with the smoke.”
“Yeah,” she sighed heavily. “I got the recipe from Ma Kent. She said it was foolproof.”
“What? But…” Clark flicked through his internal calendar. The day was important, but… “You don’t like celebrating little things. And today…” Clark frowned then, dumbfounded and asked, “Why Ma’s chicken?”
Lois tilted her head with a smile and led him inside.
“Because. Today is the day I realized I fell for you,” she said softly. Clark frowned in confusion.
“What? No, that’s not for another week or so. Today’s—”
“Sush.” She pressed her fingers against his lips and Clark pouted against them. Lois rolled her eyes but laughed quietly for a second. “You told me you loved me, on this day, one year ago. I didn’t get the chance to say anything, but I knew I fell for you the moment you flew off. It wasn’t a ‘oh I love him’ it was an ‘oh shit, I fell for him.’ Kinda moment, but I got there in the end.” She smiled teasingly. Clark gaped at her.
”But… you said you realized you loved me at my parents house.”
“Yes. That is completely true.” She pushed down a smile as she gently rubbed his chest. Clark’s brow furrowed deeper. Lois murmured with irritation at herself, “I was going to do this over dinner. I was going to—.”
“You thought I’d see you in this and wait for dinner?!”
Lois threw her head back and laughed. “I didn’t say we’d do dinner first, big guy.” She rose on her tip toes and kissed him gently. “I fell for you before I realized I loved you.”
”Isn’t that the same thing?” Clark’s hands landed on her waist to steady them both.
“Well, I fell for the bundle of Clark Kent and Superman but… I didn’t realize who you really were, or why you are the way you are, and all that until I saw you with your parents. That’s when I realized your love for me meant more than just… empty platitudes. I fell for you a year ago today, but was too scared to love you until I saw all of you.” She knitted her brow. “Does that make sense?”
Clark chuckled as he said, “In an odd, Lois Lane way, yes it does.”
“Hey!”
”You know it’s true.” Lois huffed but let Clark wrap his arms around her and pull her against his chest. She pushed one hand into the curls on the back of his head. Clark leaned down and her other hand gripped his shoulder tightly in preparation. As he kissed her, they floated up into the air. He pulled back only when she tapped his shoulder for air. “Thank you,” he said with a grin.
“You’re welcome,” she said breathlessly, her own grin forming.
Clark laughed. “You don’t know why I’m thanking you.”
“No, but I always appreciate thanks.” She smirked.
“You are so…” he trailed off with a wry grin and kissed her again. Then Clark brought them down to the floor slowly. Lois watched his eyes twinkle with delight at an idea. “What?” She asked through a laugh.
“You know, you’re like your coffee,” Clark said earnestly with a decided nod. Lois’s brow furrowed with surprised confusion. “On the outside you look like black coffee, dark and intimidating to most, but then you find out after a taste that Lois Lane is really extra sweet.” A laugh spilled out of him when Lois glowered at him like he was the cheesiest thing in the world. He tickled her sides, getting her to laugh with him. She batted his hands away and tried to compose herself. “You know it’s true,” he said.
“Extra sweet?” She said with a wrinkled nose. “That’s a bit much, hon.”
“No. Not at all. Firstly, your coffee is atrociously sweet.”
“Hey!”
“Second, you really are extra sweet. Sweet would be adding my byline to an article that I halfway helped with.”
“Like I’d do that,” Lois murmured sarcastically.
“Extra sweet is this,” he said as he nuzzled her nose with his. Lois still tried hard to act disgusted. She was not pulling it off.
“No it’s not, Clark. I burned half the meal.” Lois waved at the burned chicken and vegetables.
“You called my Ma for my favorite home recipe, you made it—“
“Attempted and failed.”
”Shh. You made it. And you are dressed like this.” He gave her a salacious grin, his hands wandering low over her backside. Lois smirked at him. “All because a year ago today, you realized you fell for me. You’re a Lois Lane coffee special.”
“Shut up.” She pushed his chest and tried hard not to smile.
“You are definitely extra sweet coffee. Which means I’m…?” Lois gave him a look that told him just how she felt about that lead in. “C’mon. What am I?” Clark gave up and pleaded. Lois opened her mouth but Clark quickly added, “And you can’t say cheese.”
She let out a breath of laughter. Then leveled him with a look. “I’m not doing this, Clark.” Lois shook her head firmly. Clark tilted his head and pouted. “It is cheesy. That’s your thing, babe. I’m not—.”
“But you love it,” Clark said quickly. Lois opened her mouth to deny, but Clark whispered, “I know when your heart speeds up, Lo. I know you like it when I’m cheesy with you.” He nudged her nose with his, despite her glare.
“I thought we had a rule about listening in on my bodily functions.”
“You said I could listen to your heartbeat!” Clark pleaded.
Lois let out a long, loud sigh. “Fine. But you can’t use it to your advantage! That’s not fair. I don’t know every little thing that gets you excited!”
“Yeah you do.” He gave her a cheeky smile.
Lois narrowed her eyes with suspicion.
“I’m an open book, hon.”
“Pfft. Yeah, sure you are, Superman.”
“Okay, you have me there. But to you, I’m an open book.” He paused and cupped her cheek. “You know why?” Lois leaned into his touch and caught his adoring gaze. “Cause I love you.”
A smile popped onto Lois’s face without her permission. Clark laid a sweet kiss on her lips and nudged her nose again. Lois grumbled about annoying boyfriends before she took a deep breath.
“If I’m coffee, you’re… sunshine,” she said like a lightbulb went off in her head. Clark’s eyes widened in excitement. “Bright and invigorating, but also…” Clark laughed softly when she trailed off. Lois squinted, abandoning that line of thought. Her eyes darted from his curls to his toes before landing on his face and seeing something beyond him. A wide grin grew on her face when she landed on the reason.
He opened his mouth to ask for more, when she said at breakneck speed, “Nevermind. Forget that.” She took a breath and said, “You’re sunshine because…” then she let the silence reign for a moment before a soft look took over her face. Her voice turned gentle as she said, “When you walk into a room, everyone lightens. We all try to be better when you’re there. Whether that’s Superman, symbol of hope, or Clark Kent, reporter of truth.” She poked his chest as if to prove her point.
Clark caught her hand and pressed a kiss to the tip of her finger. He leaned in for a kiss and she lifted onto her tiptoes. He grinned against her lips then pulled back to say, “Not bad for a first time cheeser.”
“Please, I’m a Pulitzer prize winner. I can do anything.”
“Yes, you can.” Her eyes twinkled and she took the chance to kiss him deeply. When she pulled back for breath, Clark said without any breathlessness, “Hey. Coffee sustains you. Sunshine sustains me.”
This time Lois’s eyes crinkled while she laughed free of judgement. She cupped his face and kissed him between giggles. “You’re smarter than you act, Smallville.”
“Mmhmm. It’s all part of the schtick.” He winked at her.
“Oh shut up.” She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and brushed her lips against him. He lifted her off the ground easily and kissed her back happily, slowly floating toward the ceiling.
A workout session between Lois and Clark would be so much fun. Even if she knows that Clark is literally just messing around, she’d still be very competitive…which would result in him pushing her further, teasing her, and pissing her off.
Lois would end up breaking her own challenges: if she did reps of 15 dumbbell floor press; she’s doing 50 this time. Clark’s all chuckles while she’s all grunts.
She’d be caught dead before admitting that the intensive workout is about to make her collapse, though — but he knows her heart beats and breathing pattern like the palm of his hand, so knows to slow down; never aiming for her to get hurt.
But that only makes things worse! Because Lois knows him as well as Clark knows her, so now she’s insulted that he thinks she couldn’t keep up.
Jada Jada…
It all ends up in shower sex, at the gym…which is actually the Justice Gang’s private training facilities. That means Terrific finds out that they did the deed there and finds it repulsive and disgusting. He tells everyone. Kendra suggests they burn the building down and collect insurance.
tbh this is just the WIP but I figured that my other idea doesn't repeat as well so I'd post this so I can just watch it on repeat for hours, and so can you if you're a freak like me!
Holding a baby in her arms was surreal — it was a thing that Lois had never foreseen in her life. She had never wished to be a mother or planned to become one; it was something that had just happened and yet it was the most fulfilling experience in her life.
She had heard many horror stories about pregnancy and postpartum, but she was lucky that Clark had been a teammate from the beginning and supportive as she navigated this new phase. There were many things she loved about having Jon in their lives; specially the moments that were shared in family — like the evening bathing, feeding, and even diaper changing.
But her favorite was that silent peaceful moment that she shared with her baby alone the two of them while Clark helped with chores and she breastfed her newborn. Jon always felt soundly asleep in her arms once happily fed. It was fifteen minutes of time out that Lois took advantage of for a power nap.
Lois had never felt softer skin. Jon’s sweet, warm, and powdery scent of fresh milk, baked bread, and cotton was relaxing and invited her to gently nosed into him as she carefully but steadily embraced him in her arms, keeping him safe as the two of them bonded in their sleep.
Baby Jon held from his mom’s thumb and kept his eyes closed. Lois had a soft smile curved in her lips almost brushing his dark black hair; he had been born with a head full of it.
Neither of them aware that the person that loved them the most was standing by the bed, admiring the moment and sneakily taking a picture of it.
Jon had a night routine: all screens were off one hour before bedtime, he brushed his teeth, and was gently tucked in bed by both his parents. He always closed his eyes as he welcomed his dad’s goodnight kiss on his left cheek and his mom’s sleep tight kiss on his right one. Once the nightstand was off and the door to his bedroom was closed, he opened his eyes.
It hadn’t been too long since he had developed his Super Hearing; at first it had been intrusive and nerve wrecking but as his dad helped him find techniques to silence the noise, things turned cool — so cool, he knew everyone’s secrets and a few months ago had even found out months in advance that they would go camping for his birthday! However, still learning, at night he found it hard to mute all of the sounds.
Even for human ears, mumbling noises were distracting and so Jon always found himself peeking. With his Super Hearing he could tell that Mom and Dad chuckling and giggling in the living room.
“Happy noises…” That’s how Jon called them. He sighed as he turned in bed, his back to the door. “I wonder what’s that they are doing…” He was still too young to understand, but old enough to be familiar with the sounds and how his parents sometimes displayed affection around him.
Jon’s imagination wasn’t too far off. The Kents lived in a single-floor apartment, the living room was across the hall. Lois and Clark were sharing a glass of wine while cuddling on the couch. She was sitting across his lap, hugging him as he played with her hair.
The flirty giggles escalated into soft tender kisses. Clark had been the one to initiate it. The quiet of the apartment embraced the intimate moment, they barely made a noise.
She was wearing a pair of pajama shorts, letting his firm hand stroke her thigh as his lips traveled to her ear. Lois smiled at the soft whisper of his sweet nothings and bit her lip as her nose brushed against his and she found his ear too, reciprocating the murmurs.
They kissed again, this time their kisses smacked lightly and their throats offered raspy moans. As they grew aware of the noise, Lois offered a shhh between giggles. She leaned into Clark and murmured something to his ear, then slowly stood up.
Jon was still awake in his bedroom, a deep wrinkle in his nose; “Ew…” He rolled over his belly and hid his head under his pillow, covering his ears; “Mom….!”
Grabbing lunch last week and going out for dinner last night counted as dating, didn’t it? Well, Clark wasn’t sure what the etiquette was, but hoping that it meant they were now dating, had him acting clumsy around Lois — genuinely clumsy. He had eyed her at the coffee station at the back of the bullpen and so had decided to walk over and say good morning.
Clark had a handsome grin curved from dimple to dimple as he stood next to Lois. “Hey you…” He offered a light tone, and bit on his lower lip at the bright eyes that had looked up; she was smiling too. “I-I had fun last night.” They had gone out for Thai, ice-cream, and then he had flew her home.
On her end, Lois was still thinking about the goodnight kiss they had shared; the butterflies in her belly were still as wild as they had been last night — she had barely had any sleep as she grinned to herself all night long; lying on her back and twirling her hair as she occasionally kicked her feet. It had been the first time that Clark had taken her flying, too.
“Hey you…” She felt her cheeks warm as she mirrored his words, they also exchanged a light chuckle.
It was then when the corner of his eye caught her hand nearby. With shaky timid fingers, Clark slid his hand toward hers, unintentionally knocking out the mug of coffee that she had just served for herself.
“Oops-a-Daisy!” Clark was quick to pick the mug up and used paper napkins to clean his mess. “Are you okay?” He looked up to find Lois was holding her hand close to her chest, but had a very peculiar look in her face.
It took her a brief minute to react, her mind processing his reaction. There was nothing but warmth and amusement in her eyes. “Yeah. Lucky, I’ve got quick reflexes.” She showed him her hand; not a scratch on it.
Licking his lips, Clark gently took it and examined it. His fingerpads tickled against her flesh and so Lois felt her heart speeding up a little. As his eyebrows twitched, her eyes grew big — they both aware that he had picked on that.
“Um, I-I…” Lois gently took her hand back and rubbed her arm, her attention shifting to the empty coffee pot; “You owe me a coffee, though.” That’s all she said before she offered a playful smile and walked back to her desk.
Clark followed her with his eyes and once he made sure the coffee station was cleaned, he headed to his station where he found his phone.
Lois’s desk was behind him, so he couldn’t see her as he faced his computer. Clark could feel his entire body doing this weird thing; he had never felt like this — anxious and scared but also looking forward to a positive outcome. He cleared his throat as he typed, sending Lois a text message:
Hey, wanna go grab a coffee?
Upon pressing send, he slumped over his desk and covered his head with his jacket; he couldn’t believe he had just done THAT.
His phone immidiately pinged, though. Clark looked up and fixed his eyes on the notification, he was still holding his phone.
The scary and anxious sensation immidiately vanished as he read Lois’s reply. A grin illuminated his face as he made sure he had his wallet on him and stood up to meet her by the elevator like she had suggested.
