So many times, I’ve seen people look at AU Collision and go “oh, I don’t really have an AU I can use, I just have something that is an expansion of canon media/too new and underdeveloped/very old and hasn’t been updated in a while/only characters from different official medias interacting with each other/only written and not drawn/too Sonic-OC centric/etc. so I guess I can’t join.” Well, guess what? You CAN join.
As stated on our Carrd’s FAQ, “The term AU, or Alternate Universe, is used loosely within Sonic AU Collision. This means that anything with a distinct difference or variation from canon, will be considered as an AU and may be entered into the Collision. This includes canon-divergence, crossover fusions (I.e. A retelling of Percy Jackson but with Sonic characters), Sonic OC-centric stories, etc.”
The heart of Sonic AU Collision is to bond over the source material (Sonic) and the fandom’s creative spins. Got a story that serves as a character study of Amy? We’d love to see your interpretation of her! Got an AU you made five minutes ago? Sign it up! We’d love to see your AU grow in real time! To us, it’s all AUs. Always has been.
TLDR; any story you made for the STH franchise that isn’t canon (+ doesn’t contain mature or problematic topics) qualifies as an AU and is more than welcome to join the Collision!

Who are we? We are ZineCollage, a zine collection built around bringing zines that would have previously never seen the light of day to their respective communities, all in one place! Today, we stop by to tell you what we have planned for the future near and far, right under the cut. Enjoy ♡
1. See You In The Stars
Our first ever zine, starting early production in July 2026. It is a Murder Drones zine for artists and writers interested in rarepairs! This idea came from the true lack of community Murder Drones zine we were seeing. Please check this zine's provided carrd for more info!
2. Vandalise | A Sonic Fan Zine
Suki (a.k.a. our leader)'s dream zine. It's all about taking a stand and changing the world for the better! It was originally going to start production this year, but has been moved behind the Murder Drones zine to allow the full vision to be realised. This zine also has a related carrd for those interested!
3. A Bird Zine
The first pitched zine of our collection! More will be shown with time. Please stick around if you are interested.

To all you newcomers, is a bracket tournament featuring 64 AUs that compete until only one is left standing and declared the winner. While this event may be competitive in its nature, the true goal at heart is to promote positive interactions within the community and create a place to share and discover AUs above all.
