Several of my friends who previously self-identified as bi are realizing they've lost interest in men, generally speaking

A friend of mine who's identified as a lesbian her whole life fell in love with a very sweet and shy man

I lost interest in men a few years ago, fell in love with a non-binary person, and now I give them their T shots

Life and love are unpredictable

And "queer" is a great word that all of us like and self-identify with (along with our other, more specific labels), and I love that no matter what else happens, we're still, always queer

A lot of people will oppose the standpoint that sexuality changes over time, because in a world where that's true on a large scale, all the bigots telling us to "just stop being gay" would have a valid point. All the problems caused by homophobia could, in such a universe, be resolved not by eliminating homophobia but rather by all the LGBT people just getting over themselves and resuming being straight like they're supposed to.

But all available evidence seems to contradict that idea. Conversion therapy has never worked, not even once. Nobody gets to choose their own sexuality, we all just have to live with whatever we end up with.

But the process of figuring out your sexuality is ongoing, and most people will get it wrong the first few times they pick out a label. Lots of asexuals initially misidentify as bi or pan, because they feel the same way about everybody and don't have the context to work out that the rest of humanity has a whole additional set of emotions when they look at each other. Lots of bisexuals go through life thinking they're straight, because they grew up in a mostly heteronormative culture and never questioned that. Lots of homosexuals spend some time thinking that they're bi, because they figured out that they are attracted to the same gender but haven't gotten around to letting go of the notion that they have to be attracted to the opposite gender too. That doesn't mean that they magically turned gay somewhere in the middle of their life, just that the first conclusion they came to about themselves wasn't a complete or accurate picture. There's always more to learn about your own mind and your own heart.

one warrior cats artist i’ve constantly been blown away with in my near 14 years in the warrior cats fandom is definitely nifty. like i remember niftys style when they first started to draw and animate for warriors but u can tell the amount of work and dedication and studying nifty has put into their designs and art style and animation in general, like im always so in awe of every project and animation they put out
