Dustin casually mentions after Hellfire that he was thinking of learning how to play guitar. Eddie is expecting him to ask him to teach him, but Dustin doesn’t.
So Eddie suggests, “I could teach you.”
“Oh, no. Don’t worry about it,” Dustin shrugs. “I’m going to ask Steve.”
He leaves Eddie standing there dumbfounded because what? What does that mean? Steve? As in Steve Harrington??

(I love any flavor of Steve, wether he is a himbo or not, but I have a soft spot for Steve being like a genius but in a completely different field)
Gaerth totally oblivious to Eddie's meltdown spoke, "That's awesome man, you'd pick it up in no time if Harrington is teaching you." Eddie turns his head around so fast, he's suprised he doesn't give himself whiplash.

"Yeah man, who do you think got me to learn the drums so fast. Oh- can you hand him these, we're having major problems with the sound of this one so like any help is appreciated. Tell him shakes on me next time." Gaerth says with the most deadpan expression, handing Dustin the notes to one of the songs thats been kicking Corroded Coffin's ass.
Dustin takes them without complaints and both him and Gaerth go about their day like they didn't just tilt Eddie's world on it's axis.
He taugh Gaerth to drum??!? Since when does Gaerth know Steve 'The King' Harrington?!? This one!? Steve knows about Corroded Coffin?! Gaerth and Steve get shakes!?! Together!?!
