Look I love unconditional devotion love stories as much as the next person, but there's really something so deliciously raw about conditional devotion.

And despite tumblr staff insisting that the CEO was acting against their interests, the broad transmisogyny evident in the site's culture and moderation policy has still not been adequately addressed?
Remember that staff is continuing to nuke the blogs of trans women even after all of this. Remember this post when they call this site the queerest place on the internet again this month

For those interested, the igneous phenotype is inspired by granitic pegmatites, with hexagonal beryl crystals growing from it (of the aquamarine variety)
The sedimentary fella is a BIF, or a banded iron formation - a type of chemical sedimentary rock recording the years following the Great Oxygenation Event, with alternating bands of red jasper and magnetite/iron oxides:)
And the metamorphic eridian is inspired by an amphibolite, containing garnet gem porphyry:)
like people want to think any disabled person who is after money is morally suspect some way, because they're not asking for "treatments" or "accommodations" like a lot of our issues can be fixed way more easily with money. can't drive? paying for a taxi is often one of the more accessible alternatives. can't cook? you can pay more to have prepared food delivered to you. food restrictions? that food straight up costs more money. can't clean? you can pay for someone to do that. house inaccessible? having (lots) of money can help with that, you get the gist.
having money won't make us abled. it also won't stop our symptoms from being distressing, painful, or debilitating. but there's a huge gap in experience between the average poor disabled person and someone who's actually wealthy. you can buy your way out of some of the difficult situations most disabled people are left to rot in. wanting money, needing money, asking for money is pretty natural when it's such a useful tool. why get so weird about disabled people wanting money like i'm pretty sure everyone wants money anyway
If anyone is struggling to picture the divide between a rich & poor disabled person, let me give you an example.

(For reference I have fibromyalgia & suspected ME & POTS)
I use an electric wheelchair & couldn't afford to buy one so I went through (uk) wheelchair services it took 4-5 YEARS for me to get one & it wasn't even the one I was told I was getting & it doesn't fully meet my needs, the speed is set too low so Im constantly dragging behind everyone on walks(including my mum who has the exact same wheelchair) & it doesn't tilt liek I need it to for my POTS but at least Ive got it.
This year, at a local disability convention, there is a speaker talking about his experience with disability, I dont remeber his name but he goes up on to the little stage & explains, he used to be a marine but caught a specific disease that caused him to be unable to walk long distances(there was other things but thats the main one I can remeber) so the usual "my life is changing & it fucking sucks" that happens to basically all disabled people happens & he goes through a bunch of different aids until he gets an electric wheelchair, he then has the problems every wheelchair user has & decides to build his own. He gets MILITARY GRADE METAL for his chair & the foam used in fucking F1 racers helmets, he makes so he's the height of a standing person & has tank treads. Now obviously great for him & I'm not trying to diminish his struggles but come on!!
In the time it took me to get to the top of a miles long waiting list, this guy built & started selling his own wheelchairs with military & F1 grade materials. It fucking sucks to be in a wheelchair in pain because you cant tip it back to relive the strain on your back & have someone go up on a stage & say "look at my awesome wheelchair I built myself come buy one from me"
Love the idea that because the two dragons were sealed away in close contact to Dark Cacaoâs soul jam it would have some kind of sway over his physical appearance. Leading to subtle changes after the dragons initial imprisonment and then slightly less subtle changes following his awakening and acceptance of their power.

hate exercising and realizing i've let go of a lot of anxiety and anger because i've overturned my fight-or-flight response.
hate eating right and eating enough and eating 3 times a day and realizing i'm less anxious and i have more energy
hate journaling in my stupid notebook with my stupid bic ballpoint and realizing that i've actually started healing about something once i'm able to externalize it
hate forgiving myself hate complimenting myself more often hate treating myself with kindness hate taking a gratitude inventory hate having patience hate talking to myself gently
hate turning my little face up to the sun and taking deep breaths and looking at nature and grounding myself and realizing that i feel less burdened and more hopeful, more actually-here, that i am able to see the good sides of myself more clearly, that i am able to see not only how far i have to grow - but also how much growth i have already done & how much of my life i truly fill with light and laughter and love

No, Eridians do not hate Earth or Stratt for sending Grace on a suicide mission. They understand that they were desperate and did not have the means to do it any other way, even if they wish the situation for Grace could've been better.
ROCKY however does hate them. He is holding a very personal grudge, because Grace won't. How dare they hurt Grace? How dare they abandon him?
