I hate getting suddenly sandblasted with terrible childhood memories.
When I turned 9 my mom had already been very ill most of my life and at this point was in and out of the hospital over and over. My dad, in an attempt to give me literally any positive childhood memories, spent money he didn't have renting a room at the local rollerskating rink for my birthday along with the whole nine yards of Yugioh decorations - including a giant sheetcake from walmart.
I remember being excited because so much of our money always went to bills or taking care of mom and it was the first time I remembered having a party that big.
And then literally no one came.
It was just my dad, myself, and my baby sister in a huge room filled with balloons and decorations spread across a massive table with like 25 chairs and a present table with his gift to be sitting by itself.
I don't even remember how that day ended. I remember the crushing disappointment. I remember my dad looking like he was going to cry. I remember deciding that I didn't feel like cake anymore.
My mom died a year later just after my 10th birthday. I remember her calling me from the hospital in tears because she was missing it again. And then her deciding to just come home to die.
The rest of my childhood was just a lot of that. Terrible thing one after another.
the fascinating thing about being abused is that years later youre gonna be there sitting around going "okay so what now". cause like theres no instruction manual is there
youre gonna be buying groceries and then youre gonna remember you went through all that for literally no good reason and youre gonna go Oh Okay and put paper towels in your bag or whatever
āSubvertingā Catholic art? Oh, okay. I see, you think this has nothing to do with you. You log onto the internet and you post about how āWound of Christā from Psalter and Prayer Book of Bonne de Luxembourg, attributed to Jean le Noir, c.1349, for instance, looks like a vulva because you're trying to tell the world that you enjoy Catholic art and imagery in an alternative, queer, risquĆ© way that challenges Christian beliefs. But what you don't know is that that stigma isnāt just a vulva. It's not just a mandorla. It's not just yonic. It's actually intentionally erotic. And you're also blithely unaware of the fact that around 1297, Saint Angela of Foligno experienced a vision of Christ himself, who called her to put her mouth to the wound in his side and lick the freshly flowing blood. And then I think it was Saint Catherine of Siena who drank blood and a clear liquid from the wound before receiving a ring made from Christās foreskin? And then graphically erotic encounters with the side wound of Christ quickly showed up in the writings of eight different mystics. And then the yonic interpretation of the stigmata filtered down through the illuminated manuscripts and then trickled on down into some pseudo-intellectual corner of the internetā¦where you, no doubt, fished it out of some Pinterest board. However, that interpretation represents hundreds of years and countless visions of religious ecstasy. And it's sort of comical how you think that you've come up with an idea that exempts you from Christian theology when, in factā¦you're posting an image that was sexualized for you by the very Medieval saints you think youāre so different thanā¦from āsubvertedā Catholic art.

It's one of many reasons that workers tell Polygon they are eager to unionize.
Employees and developers working on Magic: The Gathering Arena say they were hired with promises of remote flexibility, so they bought homes and built lives around those assurances. But they say they are now being told they may need to relocate to Washington state ā or effectively lose their jobs.
Those concerns are a major reason why a supermajority of workers on the Arena team are attempting to unionize with the Communications Workers of America, under the banner United Wizards of the Coast. The group publicly launched its campaign on April 27, calling on Wizards of the Coast and parent company Hasbro to voluntarily recognize the union by May 1.
These employees are doing important and laudable work in response to being forced into a bad situation but Iām glad they still took the opportunity to call themselves āUnited Wizardsā
WotC has still refused to recognize the union and has escalated to sending organizers letters directly to their homes about how unionizing is a bad idea. Luckily, our United Wizards are educated, organized, and agitated and the form letter from Hasbro was as laughable as it was threatening.

Today I wanted to talk about Kyle Bassinga. Kyle was a 21 year old man from Georgia, whose family described him as "a kind, thoughtful, and smart young man who loved nature, music, and the people around him". Kyle Bassinga was killed on February 18th 2026, just ten days after his birthday. He was found hanging from a tree in a park.
The police ruled it a suicide. The family and local community demanded an investigation. The police refused to change their ruling.
I know this website it too white for this to really go anywhere, but an understanding of the present reality of white supremacy in the United States is just so important to transfeminism here. Lynchings never stopped, white supremacy never went away, you just stopped looking.

I just googled this and⦠yes, itās absolutely real.
And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.
So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.
The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.
Thank God someone bothered to check.
