Look at these GORGEOUS photos of Victoria Moors. Photos by Gray Schilling . Although I’m so happy she has found her new life beyond gymnastics, I do miss her.
I’m about to say something so cunty, but Nastia WISHES she could model like this. That first picture? That’s some magazine shit. Unreal.
Deng linlin, He kexin, Li shanshan, Jiang yuyuan from He kexin’s weibo yesterday
Babies all grown uppp!
How is HKX the most beautiful being on this planet Earth?
Our best friend Uncle Tim found this site, part of which is dedicated to creepy dreams a bunch of creepers had about Dominique Moceanu in the 90s. I’ve decided to animate these dreams. Who hasn’t had a dream where MLT’s girls show up with 16 inch pizzas right before everyone piles into the chopper?
okay but why is the type of aircraft so specific
LOLLLLLLL.
I forgot I gave the kid a boner.
Isn’t Reese witherspoon old enough to portray a presidential candidate where is Legally Blonde: Commander In Chic I’m not fucking playing around
Which would bring everything full circle. From Election to Commander in Chic.

I'm no expert on US politics but why are so many Americans with Left/democrat ideas so against Hilary? Shouldn't the left people be united? Thats what happened in France, we were really close to have a very extreme right/facist/racist/xenophobic domination on the election so the main politicians from the center (UMP)/socialists even with very different ideas kind of got united in order to get voters to not vote for the extreme right party.
Because people like to believe the illusion of choice and like to feel like they matter as a whole in the political system and are Making A Difference. I know I sound bitter but basically a new group of innocent pure 18-21-year-olds* discover politics just in time for each presidential election (note that I emphasize presidential). They are young and want a hero and they think by saying NO to Hillary it somehow makes them a martyr or a revolutionary just like their fave characters in Hamilton or Les Mis. Except today’s passionate youth enjoys creature comforts too much to turn their idealism into action, so welcome to slacktivisim. They fool themselves into thinking that Hillary isn’t radical enough for them but BERNIE, Bernie is a MAN OF THE PEOPLE!!! And so by writing him in or voting for Jill Stein (who was the original Bernie before the Bernie stans knew politics was a thing and if Bernie really WAS a man of the people, he would have endorsed her over Hillary when he lost in the primaries, but he didn’t because he’s not a man of the people, he’s a a politician) they think it means something. Ask anyone who voted for Nader in 2000 how they feel about that today (or how they felt about it like, a month after voting when we still didn’t have a president even though Gore should’ve been a clear shot). But the kids get to feel special for like a week after the election and then politics don’t exist again until 2020. The four-year fans of politics, if you will. Tbh, I voted for Jill Stein in 2012 because I live in New York which was obviously going blue, I was kind of “meh” on Obama at that point, and out of anyone else that year she had actual plans for economic reform and creating jobs and it’s a damn shame no one took her seriously (I mean, at least bring her in to advise or just steal her plans or something, lawd). But this isn’t 2012. This year I’ll most likely vote for Hillary, because while she’s not exactly my cup of tea, I think she is awesome for breaking down barriers in the same way I think Margaret Thatcher was awesome even if I don’t agree with a damn thing Maggie did. And also, Trump is not a serious candidate with a thought in his head that remotely resembles an idea and he’s pandering so hard to people he literally does not care about, it’s hilarious to me that people think it’s genuine. Funny as entertainment value, but I wouldn’t want him getting in over someone who legitimately worked her ass off to get where she is and who has held high positions in government and knows her shit. But fine, young people, she’s not good enough so Change The World by giving your votes to people who won’t get in. You’re TRULY selfless and incredible, I bow to your strong moral compass and endless effort to fight for change. You and Che Guevara have so much in common, you’re basically the same.
*If you happen to be within this age range, know that I don’t think ALL people this age fits this description. Most I know around this age range are passionate, smart and logical and actually care about politics overall, not just once every four years, and they want to change the world, which is a great thing to want to do, but know that voting against someone just because their fave didn’t get the nomination won’t actually change anything. What I mean is that the majority who fit this description happen to be within this age range, though most grow out of it after their first election in which they get to vote. Seriously, all of my friends were the most obnoxious Obama stans in 2008 and LOVED HIM SO MUCH but had not the first clue what his plans were for office, what his stances were on issues, etc. I was like PLEASE DIE ALL OF YOU and then by 2012 they were like meh voting time I guess, who cares. It’s hilarious.
I know you say you’re not that into politics but I am loving reading some of your thoughts on the matter!
Thanks! I was actually super into politics growing up and the first election I really cared about was 2000, before I could vote, and that was an awesome one to be a part of even just watching…like if you were kinda into politics, that election was the spark that made you want to get even more into it. I almost majored in poli sci and thought for a while that I might want to go into government in some manner but then as I got older I got more disillusioned thanks to bureaucracy and knowing that nothing will ever change in a radical way and now I’m basically Ron Swanson. I’m still interested in what happens and I follow everything but I generally prefer not to get into debates or conversations because (a) I was idealistic in high school and that’s a fun stage and I don’t want to ruin it for other people, and (b) I get annoyed that the majority of people who follow presidential elections (not necessarily on tumblr but in my life in general) are people who just parrot facts from the media and don’t actually know anything. Like my dad, who just quotes Fox News and thinks he’s a political genius. Or some of my friends, who just quote Huffington Post and think they’re political geniuses. Politics has to be the one topic where people are the least informed and yet the most vocal about what they think they know and it drives me craaaaaaaaaaaazy but I’m happy to answer things about my personal thoughts!
Posting this on FB, btw.
Do you have any good cold/sinus infection tips? I'm on meds and doing lots of water and cough drops. The meds will take a while to work they said but I'm worried it will become bronchitis because my chest hurts when I cough, and every single time I get bronchitis I have to get an inhaler (even tho I don't have asthma).
For me colds always start in my head and then travel down into my throat and then into my chest so when I get sick, over the course of a month I will have had pretty much every cold symptom possible hahaha. So you might get bronchitis if you’re anything like me. Basically when I get a cold/sinus infection I take a day off from work because even one day can help you get rest and help your immune system fight. I have about 6000% of the recommended amounts of Vitamin C. I usually also take DayQuil when I have to be at work because that at least helps with body aches and makes me feel like a regular human as opposed to a dead body. Water and cough drops are also good, and I’m trying to think of what else I do…for some reason pickles help me? Maybe it’s the vinegar but they always make my throat feel better. Spicy foods also help my throat/sinuses. My doctor prescribed nose drops once and those helped with stuffiness…benadryl to sleep is amazing…I think that’s generally it? I just try to do the absolute bare minimum in terms of exerting myself, and I also follow the “feed a cold, starve a fever” old wive’s tale. I get really hungry when I have a cold and sometimes just eating good carby food makes me feel better physically. I hope you feel better soon!!
Chiming in here, unprompted, but the creepy mother in me is compelled to do so.
Hear me out, because this may be the grossest thing you hear this week.
So they make this thing for young children called the Nose Frida. I’m sure you’ve heard of it. In the picture, the parent appears to be sucking the boogers straight out of the baby’s head. And that is literally what you do. Except there is a filter in there, and a reservoir, so the boogs never get near your mouth. Shot of saline, and an attack with the booger sucker works wonders on babies.
So this one time I was so super fucking stuffed up, I couldn’t do a damned thing. And I am afraid of no medicine, trust me. So in a fit of sinus infection, ambien rage, I said FUCK IT. I inhaled those motherfucking boogers straight out of my own motherfucking head.
No shame.
SPANNY ARRIVES IN THREE DAYS!!!!!
FUCK ME WHY DO I HAVE TO PARENT AND ADULT FOR THREE MORE DAYS???
A movie, a book, wool socks, and Duolingo. #SaturdayNight
I’M GONNA BE INSIDE YOU IN A WEEK.
And by you, I mean your apartment.
(Instagram) iamvalc: 9.14.16 Love watching their goofyness 😄😄😄
ooh tom said on monday that week 2 would be “tv theme week” and laurie and val are doing the jive
Laurie wasn’t alive when that show came out.
I’m going to bed now.
EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND WATCH!!!! Zamo basically just did a floor routine. Corner Transitions, choreography, leaps, combination tumbling pass, forward, and backward tumbling, and a twisting pass, SHE’S EVEN GOT A DIFFICULT TURN!!!! I’m literally shook!!!
Honestly, that’s some of the best choreo she ever had in her career and better than most of the current NT members.
well the choreo is okay except for the fact that she straight up copied courtney kupet’s awful crab walk of doom
I don’t understand how this show can simultaneously be SO MUCH WORSE than the USAG tour and also SO MUCH BETTER than the USAG tour.
Svetlana Khorkina and Elena Zamolodchikova are still better than most.
Sveta’s outfit though
It’s common knowledge that I am NOT a Khorkina fan, but seeing her do her 1995-96 choreo did special things for me.
Will you be doing a beamcracker video this year, they're so great?
I need to! I have a ton of videos from ‘15, so I need to finish that, and then do Rio’s.. I’m praying to the @nastiafan101 Gods that there will be a way to capture all the event streams.
Because of you all I see is veg when I look at that Leo...
Like a vegetable?
I really hope you will be doing recaps of 'Douglas Family Gold'! You're the best :)
Thank you! I will try. I am about halfway through the 2nd episode. Then Trials came up, and then Rio, and... I don’t know. The Olympics as I had known it had changed. I really, truly need a break.
I’ve been in touch with Nat about certain things. It’s gong to be very, very hard to go back to capping DFG knowing that higher ups wanted her to be their story. But that’s a story for another time.
