EVERYTIME IT’S ON MY DASHBOARD I WATCH IT AND CRY BEST VIDEO
ITS BACK THANK YOU GOD
This video is a gift.
I want what she’s having.
it’s always better than i remember it
Pictures do not do this dress justice. This is one of the most unique dresses I have ever seen, but Lauren is able to pull it off flawlessly. I am glad she still has yellow incorporated because it suits her so well.

That getting home gif is literally so accurate I can't even
I just read your post about feeling stressed about dance and I just want you know that nothing is holding you back more than your own insecurities! And as for the choreography, sometimes the simplest steps are the ones that look the nicest on stage because you can add so much of your own style! And remember, even if you don't believe in yourself, we believe in you! Chin up and best of luck at the O
Thank you so much, anon, this really makes me feel better ❤️❤️ I appreciate your support so much! maybe I will stick with my old steps…
Keep reading
I know exactly how you feel. But keep telling yourself that your mind is crazy powerful… Last week at our Nationals I had a complete freakout before the first round (after weeks of telling myself I was going to do terribly because of an injury) and lo and behold, I did the worst hornpipe I’ve ever done on stage. Even though I knew that I could do it and had done it quite happily in class just a few days earlier. If you keep thinking that you don’t deserve your places/can’t do your new steps/won’t qualify for Worlds, chances are you’ll continue dancing badly at comps and not achieving your goals. Stay calm and focused on your actions and your effort, because at the end of the day that’s all you can really control. And in regards to your steps, just work on both :) perfect your easier ones but keep practising the new ones, and eventually you’ll get them right. Good luck!
^this is excellent advice
I’m going to be a little more matter of fact here: I kick myself for not having figured out that believing in myself was key years ago. I still struggle with it. And simple steps? Execution is critical. Do what you can do well, not what you wish you could do. There’s no need to feel like you’re the bottom of the barrel. So what if your results are varied? You’ve competed against a lot of different people at a lot of different competitions that have been adjudicated by a lot of different adjudicators. This is a big mental hurdle to get over and you can totally do it. You have to believe in yourself and trust your training. You are an individual and your progress goes at a specific pace. Your talent is unique to you. Be you. Don’t be anyone else.
Wida European champion 2015, so overwhelmed 😎 made such improvement from 7th last year! Thanks to my amazing friends, family and dance teacher!

So this little cigarette right here has sparked a whole new brand of TFiOS hate, much of which is coming from people who claimed to love the book.
Many people are now pointing out how “pretentious” Augustus is, and I can’t help but think, You’re only just now realizing this. He was written to be a seemingly pretentious and arrogant person. The acknowledgement of this is actually highly important because, without it, the book loses the message that a hero’s journey is that of strength to weakness.
Augustus Waters has big dreams for himself. He wants to be known and remembered; he wants to be a hero; he wants to be seen as perfect. But there’s already something standing in his way… He has a disability, and society tells him that a person cannot be both perfect and disabled. So what does he do? He creates a persona for himself. He tries to appear older and wiser than he is. But the pretentious side of him is NOT who he truly is. It’s all an act. (This is evident in the fact that he often uses words in the wrong context.)
And when his cancer returns, we begin to see his mask cracking. The true Augustus begins to bleed through… Hazel even takes notice of this from time to time. And by the time we get to the gas station scene, Augustus is no longer the picture of perfection he was when we met him. The play has been canceled. The actor must reveal himself. And he’s revealed to be a weak, defenseless boy, succumbing to the cancer that is made of him.
THE PRETENTIOUSNESS IS INTENTIONAL. It stands to show Augustus’s journey from flawless to flawed, from strong to weak. It’s the key to understanding that Augustus was the hero he always wanted to be, even if he didn’t realize it.

FUCK CAPITALISM! This didn’t cost tax payers anything. You don’t need to be a governing body with a police force to do decent things.

This dance (called The Mist) is a combination of modern dance and Irish dance. We performed it at Trinity Academy’s DAHMSA. It was an awesome experience getting to learn the dance and performing it was even better! I hope you all enjoy watching it! 😄
