Sharp tongue, sharp eyes, sharp teeth.
Brimming with energy. A beat of aggressive adrenaline, the oceanic rush of a pulse in the ears, the ripple and crackle of lightning, the cold snap of wind ahead of a storm front.
For someone who looks by all rights demonic, Xha'khai can be congenial when it suits. Hers is a balance between observation and action, ever seeking between moments of stillness.
Communion with eldritch entities and spirits from beyond the veil rarely leaves one unchanged. Sometimes a bit of dark humor helps, along with an unselfconscious command of sensuality and hedonism.
Xha'khai is a vision of mottled hide marbled with brands and tattoos homage to forces best left unnamed. While Zandalari, the Loa she serves has changed her utterly.
She cuts an imposing and often towering figure. There is a muscular strength corded in every inch of her considerable frame - and she is disinclined to conceal it.
A loincloth and simple halter suit her shape best. Other times, it’s a matter of chains, bells, blades and other decoration from horns to tail. Either way, she walks barefoot or mostly so, with wraps where her own natural pads and talons are insufficient. Her hands, likewise, are almost always bare, long fingers deft despite the jewelry she favors and the solidity of claws kept filed and burnished.
Her face is strong, angular, inhuman. An arched nose pads thickly at the bridge, flecked in spots darker than the lavender of her skin. Bony spikes sheathed in violet protrude from her brow, like those that stud her shoulders and back, lending her a curious symmetry counter to the asymmetrical piercings in each long, pointed ear. Full lips, purple as her spots, conceal a set of fangs and tusks that occasionally protrude if the mood suits. Her teeth are overall pointed, and the shape of her jaw suggests a crushing bite.
Brilliant golden eyes lack sclera altogether and glint in the dark with an unsettling lucidum sheen. Slit pupils focus and dilate, somewhat feline, somewhat draconic, undeniably predatory. The nictitating membranes beneath her lids only complete the image.
She has no hair to speak of - only bristly scales that mimic lashes, and a mane of webs and tendrils that wriggle and move to suit her mood.
Strange indeed.
