@trixalla
The Internet Archive is at a crucial juncture in the lawsuit brought against it by multiple record companies. The latter have successfully requested a thirty day stay to negotiate a settlement. The Internet Archive has begun a petition to request that the lawsuit be dropped entirely, due to the risk it poses to the organization and its projects, most important of which right now is the Wayback Machine, the ridiculously huge 'time machine for the internet', due to reasons I hopefully need not mention.
To circumvent link suppression, the petition's URL and QR code can be found as images below.
The following is intended for @wilwheaton (but you can watch it too):
Reposting this one more time before the extended stay ends on June 4th.
I would play the shit out of this.
Please support this game! I've been following it forever and the developers obviously put a lot of love into finally repping my people as Not Just Generic Bad Guys To Be Slaughtered in QuickTime Events, but the unabashed horse girls we truly are. I really love how outspoken she is about representing proper care and compassion for these animals in the industry too.
Experience the legendary adventures of a brave courier rider! Bond with your horse and tame the open wilds of 13th century Mongolia.
Thereâs some really fun stretch goals! I know a lot of folks are hoping we get to the Falconers. That would add such a fun element to the game. đĽ°
Peaceful Mode has been reached!
Falconers of Mongolia reached, more stretch goals unlocked!
Itâs Pride Month Eve, so leave out some milk for Freddie Mercury and his cats.
Time for the annual Pride Month reblog of Freddie Mercury and his fabulous cats!
Finished a sketch from 2019 of my Aasimar cleric. Teodor de Vethal is a very good, exhausted man who does everything for everyone who needs help. Yes, that nebula halo is always there and cannot be hidden by hoods/hats. Disadvantage on Stealth! Ref- pic of Dylan Hasselbaink.
St Trina
The kindness of deepest sleep, dulled senses, and death. I combined her form in the DLC with the figure from the St Trina's Torch lore item. What's that third eye about? Are the 8 flower petals significant? Time to get in a jar and watch more theory-crafting videos!
Thyra Viðarsdóttir, child of the Black Whale, wielder of Hrafnsbrand, ally of Raven. Arctic berserker, sea monster hunter, and member of The Third Circle.
Sometimes you gotta stick your D&D oc in a famous Alphonse Mucha painting to show off her new scar.

Been a very long time since I attempted anything full body, with a background. And clothes! But here she is, my druid lady that I'm playing in a friend's homebrew D&D campaign. Learned a bunch, and hope to make her a fun character sheet with a few outfits.

Do I upload some old art or stick to new shit going forward?
I wish wizards were real so bad imagine coming out of a wal mart and seeing some guy with long robes and a big hat in the parking lot surrounded by wacky particle effects screaming some shit like "By the moon and the starlight, by the shield and the sword, I summon to me, my Honda Accord!" And then just getting into his car and driving off

âIn 1404, King Taejong fell from his horse during a hunting expedition. Embarrassed, looking to his left and right, he commanded, âDo not let the historian find out about this.â To his disappointment, the historian accompanying the hunting party included these words in the annals, in addition to a description of the kingâs fall.â
LMFAOOOOOO rip to that guy
i thought maybe this was fake, but thereâs even a citation!
Taejong Sillok Book 7. 5th year of King Taejongâs Reign (1404), February 8.
Happy 618th anniversary of the day King Taejong fell from his horse!
Apparently the recorders were really intense about this. We have a record of King Taejong complaining about a recorder who followed him on a hunt in disguise and another who eavesdropped on him behind a screen. No one was allowed to see the records, even the king (one king did and killed five men based on what was written there, after which they took greater care to ensure it would never happen again), and changing the content or disclosing it was a capital punishment. Even when there were rival political factions trying to influence the writers, they wrote down what was a revision and what wasnât and kept an original version with no revisions in it.
They also made sure to back up their data. They made four copies of it, then when three copies were lost in the Imrim Wars they decided to make five more copies just in case. One copy was destroyed in a rebellion, another was partially damaged in an invasion, and Japan stole one copy during their occupation and moved it to Tokyo University, where it was mostly destroyed in the Kanto Earthquake (47 books remained and were returned to South Korea in 2006). Now the whole thing is digitized, free on the internet, and translated into modern Korean for all to see.
It took centuries of meticulous recorders, justifiably paranoid copiers, absolutely determined historians, and painstaking infrastructure for this joke to be possible. Happy 618th anniversary to the day King Taejong fell from his horse.
âYou canât tell me as commander of police I canât stop some little tiâ some idiot from writing down anything he likes?â âOh, no, sir. Of course you can. But Iâm not sure you can stop him from writing down that you stopped him writing things down,â
- Terry Pratchett, The Truth
This is it. This is the bi experience.
Wonderful suggestion, 10/10
So much trauma this year and my hair didn't even turn white. What the fuck is this bullshit
