some reminders for the GO fandom (because we all need some)

something i KNOW we'll all be hearing for awhile is "they're just fictional characters, its not that deep, move on" and you know what, i can both agree and disagree with that.

first of all, i hear way to many people discredit fiction. just because characters aren't real doesn't mean they dont REPRESENT something. and aziracrow represented so much to so many people. ive always admired how we as humans can take plots and characters that we know arent real and still feel all the love for them that we do for real people. its genuinely such a beautiful part of human nature.

so please know that it is totally valid to feel your feelings and to be utterly devastated when you dont see characters get the ending you think they deserved.

but remember that thats no way an excuse to harass the creative team. you should not be treating real, living, breathing, human beings as villains because the ending that they thought would do these characters justice isnt the one you thought would. i just found out that the director of the finale just very recently lost her partner of 40 years, and that people are villainizing her and threatening to PHYSICALLY ASSULT her. that is honestly terrible and i in no way shape or form am going to associate with those "fans" who are doing that

if theres ANYBODY we are going to take our frustrations out on its Neil Gaiman. the only person solely responsible for the way things ended is him. its his fault the plot was rushed, its his fault that they didnt get a satisfying ending. its not the new creative team's, and its not rachel talalay's.

that also doesnt mean you should be making the people who enjoyed the ending feel bad about it. again, just because it wasnt your ending doesnt mean it cant be somebody elses

so please, feel every right to be upset and devastated, but treat human beings like human beings PLEASE

Ive never felt more lied to about a series than i have about love live.

Ever since i started watching any kind of anitube content ( aka like 6 years ago) everyone was calling love live "boring" "mid" and "overatted" which is why i never really wanted to watch it.

But recently i started watching it cause i thought "eh why not". AND I LOVE IT. no joke it has become one of my favourite animes ever. It has made me smile, cry, and it genuinely helps me get thru the day and motivate in my own idol goals. So yea turns out eveyone was wrong about it

I'm pretty proud of them, not going to lie. I thought I would start with them, since they are very iconic, and their designs are probably the easiest to translate into human versions.

Of course, I am planning to do similar ones for the cats and probably the mice as well. And I can't wait to make some screenshots edits/redraws with them!

Genuienly crashing out rn cause i just found out that a theater in my country (one of my fav theaters to be exact) used to do Something Rotten (my current musical hyperfixation) but the last time they did the show WAS IN 2023 and since the theater scene is obviously not as big in hungary there are NO BOOTLEGGERS, NO CAST ALBUMS, and definietly no pro shots and bringing back shows is also super rare which means ill never see what it was like😭😭😭 which sucks cause i heard sooo many good things about it😭😭😭😭
