You know whatās really shitty? Ignoring people when they send you icebreakers or kind messages or requests to rp.
A lot of people in the roleplaying community are really shy and it takes a lot of courage for them to send you something, especially if they admire your writing and portrayal. For you to just ignore them or delete their messages without responding is not only really rude, it is also disheartening for them and it makes them feel like theyāre not good enough. Nobody deserves to feel that way.Ā
If you donāt want to rp or talk with them, tell them so. We all have those days when we just want to keep to our little group of friends and we donāt want to branch out and talk to others. Thatās fine, and itās normal. Whatās not okay is when you turn your nose up and ignore the people who take the time to send you a message because theyāre ānot quality,ā or you ādonāt like the character/how they write/donāt know the fandom/etcā.
Be nice. Tell them youāre not interested or are not into it at the moment.Ā Do NOT just snub them. Itās a terrible thing to do.

ā - Moving from place to place all the time, she had resigned herself to the idea of cheap apartments; which more than often meant they werenāt that well maintained. Rather than stressing over it and spending more money than necessary, she generally learned to live with any pest problems she had. So of course she didnāt try squashing or otherwise killing the insect on her counter.
Funny thing, thoughā¦she could swear it was following her as she moved. Surely it must have been all in her headā¦.but then again, sheād seen much stranger.
