He’s saying that because that man was a soldier, his job is only to kill “in defense of” his kingdom, including killing innocent civilians to boost your kingdom’s ego. He’s saying that a person’s only goal should be “doing what you’re told and nothing more” to get promotions, even if the “doing as you’re told” is killing innocents, even if that “nothing more” is simply preventing those under your command from killing innocents.

A new study from January 2023 again shows the rate of surgical regret/detransition at less than 1%. Which agrees with the other studies done on this topic.
