my toxic ex i still stalk sometimes to make sure she isn’t better off without me
the worms in my brain that kinda look like that one band from the 2000s
What if we were part of underground alternative bands before we met? ❤️
I've always wanted to make a Sherlock Band AU, the idea came back last year with the creation of The Fusiliers (John, Sholto, Murray and Hayter), the last two based on existing characters from the original ACD stories, adapted for BBC Sherlock and expanded upon by @spooksicl-e and I. Huge thank you to them for humoring me and helping me shape the universe up! If you're curious about the fusiliers, go check her out!
Character interaction sheets and a simple timeline under the cut!
Hopefully there will be more to come, fingers crossed!
This has been uploaded before but that was off the NYCC cassette which was notoriously low quality so now that it’s on vinyl I took the liberty of recording it and it sounds amazing
BANDOM ART!!!

THE FINAL PROBLEM - part 10
THE FINAL PROBLEM - a broken promise - part 10 of 11 - part 1 - part 2 - part 3 - part 4 - part 5 - part 6 - part 7 - part 8 - part 9. This is picking up a few days after Pat 1, and there's one more update after this.
I've wanted to redraw this little scene from way back in a Study in Scarlet for ages. That part is all canon, as well as Watson's final line in his account of Holmes's death.
This is in the Watson's Sketchbook series!
new year new meet the artist🫶🫶
Walk in the park with John Watson and his army mates! (Sholto, Murray and Hayter!) Last two mentioned are characters created by the one and only @spooksicl-e and co-created by me based on existing characters from the books and John's blog!
So, the Sherlock Holmes fandom (well, the johnlock side of it mostly, but, like, we're on tumblr) has multiple ways of coping with Watson having a wife (or wives) in the stories, and I got curious which ones are more popular.
What's your preffered headcanon for John Watson's wife?
There was no wife, he invented her for the stories
Lavender marriage or similar (so, a mutually agreed marriage of convenience)
HE married her out of convenience, but SHE didn't know that
A genuine marriage out of love, but Watson had feelings for Holmes too
A genuine marriage, and Watson DIDN'T have feelings for Holmes (at the time)
Polycule
I use multiple of these equally and can't decide on a single one I prefer most
Other (elaborate!)
If you go with the version of there having been multiple wives, and you have different headcanons for different ones, vote for the option you have for Mary (you're obviously welcome to elaborate on others in the notes though!)
Also I tried to make the options vague enough to fit different interpretations of H/W (romantic relationship, qpr, one-sided feelings from any side, etc), but obviously it's hard to include everything, especially in the character limit for poll options, so keep in mind that the main focus of the poll is Watson's relationship with his wife, not with Holmes, and vote how you see fit. You can interpret love/feelings as broadly as you want. And again, you're welcome to elaborate!
Reblog for sample size yadda yadda
Y'all aren't ready for @spooksicl-e and I's 2000s Sherlock Holmes adaptation concept...
what I would not give for a really good film adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray that could fully be about gay love and lust and friendship in a way that would make Oscar Wilde proud. Luca Guadagnino what are you doing next
watched the 2009 film last night, which may have the dubious honor of being the worst movie I've ever seen. TBH I think the fundamental miss of all film adaptations is that they never can resist having the revealed portrait be a horrifying, inhuman, zombie-like depiction of Dorian. But that's a misunderstanding of the entire point of the portrait. It's a much more mundane horror:
From Dorian's point of view, the horror is partially that of aging, but much more of having the cruelty with which you've lived your life show on your face. No longer being a muse, untouched by the world, but an ordinary person who must suffer the consequences of how they chose to live their life. It's a commonplace horror that every single other person must learn to face over the course of their life - except for Dorian Gray. So when he does face it, it terrifies him.
For Basil, the painter, the horror of the painting is tied to the fact that he has been in love with his young and beautiful muse for so long, and has projected so much of himself and his art onto Dorian. So when he sees the painting, and sees the cruel man that Dorian has grown into - due to the influence of Basil and his friend Lord Henry - it's the deep horror of realizing you loved an empty vessel. Of wondering - did I help to shape this man? Was my love somehow responsible for this? Or was this in him the entire time, and I was somehow drawn to it, and what does that say about me?
The TRUE horror, the really disturbing concept that I think would be AWESOME IN FILM, lies in the person of Dorian himself. A creepy, nasty, cunning old man, living in the body of a beautiful young person who everyone cannot help but project innocence on. It would be the role of a lifetime for an actor who really got to explore that. Anyway I guess I have to do everything myself and write the screenplay which is in my head BYEEEE
we must sexualise the receding hairline
Opinion on Sherlock and Watson being covered in blood ?? :)
i fear if you scroll back far enough on my various art socials, you’ll find a very obvious and passionate answer☝️
