about me; wren, 26, any pronouns. i’m currently working on my associate’s degree and then i will be pursuing a bachelor’s in early childhood education. i had a later start to secondary education than most people, but i’m very proud of the path i am on now. 🫶 i love to read & learn & stretch the boundaries of my knowledge, & to inspire others to do the same.

7 august 2026 - i’ve been feverish with sore throat and migraine for 4 days. no work means no structure, so my days are filled with laying in bed, reading novels, watching movies, drinking warm tea, and napping. finally went to the doctor today, bc i can’t self-prescribe antibiotics (nonsense rules like that). i’m feeling so much better afterwards, managed to clean and mop the floor, did some fun asks, and worked on my report. looking forward to printing some new guidelines to study tomorrow

i was just informed the state aid program that has been helping me afford college is no longer fully funding education degree programs. 🙃 my state hates educators so much. this is what i know i want to do without a shadow of a doubt, but even still…my heart breaks.
