started thinking about rosekiller lately and how barty's way of love is nasty, mean, and hurtful. he bites and scratches, needing to see evan wearing the physical proof they are together, so he can feel grounded. he breaks skin and hopes to taste blood in his mouth, wants to drink it and begs his body to take this blood and merge it with his own, so they stay as one in the deepest parts of his body.

and evan, who has branded barty with much more dark magic than the dark lord ever could. he was raised to be the enemy, his house is filled with the most horrifying bouts of spells and poison. magic to him is used to kill and maim and ruin, to get what he wants, uncaring for how many people he hurts in the process. it's that same brand of evil he uses to carve his very self on barty.

they both are each other's detonators, each other's explosives they have willingly strapped to their chests.

Implementing some Slavic things into Evan and Barty's lives just because I'm Slavic and I can. (Yes, I know that other families in other countries can do it, too, just sharing.)

Barty's mum, while she's alive, being really welcoming each time Evan visits over holidays, offering him second helpings and packing him food to take home/back to school. Because in her eyes he's too lanky and maybe his parents don't care that much.

Evan learns to bring her something, even if not that big, every time he visits, because he wants to show how much he appreciates her effort abd hospitality.

When Evan and Barty decide to drink in the dorm, get properly pissed, it's somehow established that it's a bad habit to put an empty bottle on the sidetable of the bed. It goes to the floor. Some prophesy shit, Panda supports it. Mostly prejudice, but it's still cute.

Barty has a habit of looking into the mirror every time he lives the dorm/their apartment. Just so he can remind himself what he looks like and who he actually is. Evan doing the same secretly because he watched Barty do it for years. Not liking yourself is a main point. Also giving you luck!

Hc that James' parents had a Romeo & Juliet situation but make it desi. Effie was hindu and Monty was muslim. Their families did not approve of them and they fled the country during the India-Pakistan split cuz there was a lot of violence and their families were pressuring them to break up. They came to the UK with so little but slowly built their way up to a stable lifestyle. They changed their names to fit into the foreign country better and they opened a pottery business and hence were started to be called as Euphemia and Fleamont Potter.

Not sure about what I want their original names to be (always open for suggestions tho) but for now I have:

Farzan (wise) /Fayaz (generous) for Fleamont

Yashoda (mother of lord Krishna) for Euphemia
