I HATE Amy Schumer and Lena Dunham, but I hate their critics even more.

It’s so tired. Every post criticizing them is just “lolol so fat and ugly lol” and like…why? I don’t even think they’re especially fat.

Call them unfunny, call out their past actions, call them bad feminists, whatever, but just insulting their looks gives credence to their idea that their detractors are all just sexists. There’s literally so much to criticize that isn’t “haha isn’t amy schumer fat.”

I literally do not give a fuck about either lady’s weight. They are both genuinely shitty people, so why the fuck would anyone with half a brain choose to attack their weights when there so many actual problems to point out

exactly. their character should be what’s getting attacked, not their physical appearance. assholes who choose to do the latter end up only strengthening their belief that they can do no wrong because they can more easily write off any criticism they get as sexism.

I’ve heard Amy Schumer’s stand up and I didn’t really find her funny because all she did was joke about how nasty her vagina was. I have also heard of her stealing jokes too but I haven’t heard anything on the other woman. Could someone fill me in??
