There is an egregious lack of Ritsu content in this fandom. Every time I see fanart or an edit including multiple mp100 characters, they'll include everybody BUT Ritsu it's ridiculous.

His dynamic with Reigen as a father figure would be so interesting considering that he has a distrust towards him. I fucking love those angsty, hurt/comfort fics where Ritsu is suffering in silence and Reigen is the one who finds out, helping the kid throughout it despite his disdain. There are approximately 4 of those they're all great need more.

It’s astounding how many Reigen-adopts-Mob fics just forget his existence. (Shoutout Mob Zombies 100, a Dadgen fic where Ritsu is included too.)
Ritsu’s wariness being misunderstood as hatred has always confused me, because he talks to a lot of characters like that? Sure he’s especially direct on calling out Reigen, but it’s not a crazy difference to how he talks about Tsubomi or Mezato or the Awakening lab kids. He has paranoia (especially around individuals that have to do with his brother) that’s like his whole thing.
The ‘proof’ i always see that he hates Reigen is usually clips from Cleanup arc where Ritsu is already having a bad time. He doesn’t hate Reigen, he just appeared at a terrible time 😭

People don't talk about or maybe they do and I don't know but The Good Place is so inherently hopeful. But it's not hopeful in a naive way. It literally just looks at you right in the eye and says, that yes I know you did very shitty things, and I know you are scared and I know you are angry, but they don't DEFINE you because you were raised in environment beyond your control which then contributed to your harmful actions. The Good Place rather believes in creating an environment where it is the default and easy position for a normal person to choose good.
But whats better is that it says that by deciding to become a good person you cannot just erase your past. You have to pay your dues or rather 'karma'. The tests that Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani and Jason face are TORTURE but they ace them by confronting their past mistakes and rectifying them. The good place says that facing your karma or rather consequences of your actions is a good thing because karma is not a punishment but a test given to you because someone wants you to do better. The tests or difficulties you face right now are not because you are a bad person and now have to serve eternal punishment - rather they are an act of faith in your potential than a verdict on your worth.
It states that the will of universe is inherently based on empathy and faith rather than blind judgement. The statement that the universe out there is ROOTING so hard for you - is so powerful especially when people feel stuck or defined by their past!!!
