As an introduction: Hello! I’m Rett and I’m a full time college student and a Concept Artist that would love to help bring your ideas to life! I can do any type of concept art but I usually do Dnd art or character sheets for people.

I must explain to you my DND babies because I draw them too much to not at least tell you a little about them.

S0 i thought we should start with the character i have the most brain rot for!

This is Nab Alii!

Nab grew up in the capital of Ozmendia with wealthy business men as their parents. They ran Change your Fate, A busy casino in the heart of the city. Nab started helping around the casino at a young age and began full employment there as soon as they were able to.

In their early teens they said fuck that I want to dance, and started to used their changeling abilities to do street performances. their parents were not very happy with this career move, as they saw the ability to mimic other faces as their only source of power. It is to be wielded like a weapon, not a paint brush. Nab continued to work at the Casino as they wanted to make their parents proud. it has not been working very well.

One night however, their father decided to give them the responsibility of closing the casino by themselves. Nab was ecstatic about the opportunity. they became less excited when near then end of their shift, they heard a window smash in the kitchen. That night Nab was kidnapped and taken to a mysterious hospital. There, they met the Doctor, the arbiter of their stay and seemingly the boss of Gel'neresh, A mind flayer that conducted horrifying experiments that lost them their left eye. They began to get stronger, and gained psionic powers that they didnt understand. With these experiments came the black veins that crawled along the left side of their face and arm. They found that where the veins reached they could not shift anymore and their spirit was broken. There more that I cant say because my fellow party members have my tumblr so you'll have to learn about it through my drawings like they do :)

Nab eventually escaped, and began running from the doctor and his goons. Along the way they met Zazel on a traveling circus and stuck with them. They are not the same person they used to be, they are paranoid and their emotions are explosive at times. They are constantly convinced someone is on their trail, and usually they are correct.

There's a lot of stuff that has happened in the campaign itself that would take far to long to explain, but that's Nab! They are my anxious baby and I just want to put them in my teeth and shake em!

one fun thing about being a teacher in march 2023 is that chess is a literal epidemic among teens. we are starting to have meetings about how we can STOP teenagers from playing too much chess which is like if we were trying to figure out how to stop them from reading for fun. When i was in high school five years ago chess was nerd shit only but now it is transcending every social and language barrier and is absolutely rampant. kids aren’t on their phone texting in class anymore it’s ONLY chess.com. kids are playing chess on their phones while playing chess in real life. this is still better than tiktok because at least the kids are developing an attention span from this

i was in the grocery store and saw an onion on the ground and picked it up, absently saying “poor little guy.” behind me a teenage girl started laughing and then stopped and went “aww. i’m sorry for laughing. that’s nice actually.” and the cycle of cruelty is broken for another generation as a young person realizes that it is not embarrassing to have empathy for another thing that was once living, because certainly to be a lone white onion rolling on the ground in a supermarket would be terrifying to anyone
