Autumn🍂🍁
intro to astronomy
summer classes have begun, which means I am back on my academic grind!
I know that there are a lot of people in the study community who use their time wisely and are always productive one way or another, but during my breaks in school, I tend to sit back, relax, and enjoy the free time that I do have.
I am still productive, dont get me wrong, but I am certainly not writing notes or going out of my way to study other types of material (though i want to start!)
Instead i spend my time doing my hobbies, or trying to complete projects that I started moons ago
And speaking of moons, I am taking intro to astronomy for this summer! I have absolutely always been enamored with the stars and sky, and although my career path has nothing to do with astronomy (i am a sociology student!) I think its important for us as students, as the next generation, to take classes that may not benefit our future career
Why?
Because knowledge is important. Curiosity is one of the things that keeps our species alive! It is good to be curious!!
Anyway, many of my moots have been a little.. quiet lately. I dont know where they are ! If you see this, say hello! I've missed you :)

Tuesday June 10th
Back in the college library at long last. I went on a little vacation to the other side of the country. While it was fun, I am happy to be back home.
This afternoon I’m in the college library working on a sermon for this coming Sunday. Can you guess which epistle I’m preaching on?
[12/100] days of productivity
Spent hours copying quotes and other random things collected during the months―thanks to my "obsessive screenshotting mania"―into my commonplace journal.
So relaxing. Almost therapeutic. I recommend.
Set myself up a standing desk today and it was so much more comfortable than sitting all day. I recently went to an asian supermarket and got red bean mochi as a treat, had it with an orange and some matcha to get me through a long to-do list!
coffee, reading, and journaling
a very quiet sunday
Wisteria floating over an Oxford college wall and a foamy cup of coffee keep me going through long hours of peering at dusty manuscripts ✿☕📜!

A beautiful day for cramming… I’m in a better place mentally than much of the last couple of weeks which is good, but that slump has left me with a lot of exam prep to do in not much time, so I’m doing my best to get through it all today. Fingers crossed for the exam in the morning!

04.05.2025 // 15/30: Chaos. Finished the lection about Rousseau's Confessions and started taking notes for my study group meeting next week. Only did about 2 hours of reading today but I'm far too tired right now to do any more.
03.05.2025 // 14/30: Lost my motivation a bit after the weekend (still kept going though). I now have enough ideas for two of my exams but there is still a lot of reading to do, so I won't present them right away.
Saturday 26th April
I visited St Edmunds Hall for the first time as I went to watch some medieval plays. I also got to see the old library and crypt!
