my hopes/opinions for season 5 of stranger things before part 1 comes out tmrw!!(that nobody asked for)

- no stancy endgame! besides the fact that i don’t like them together they also just want entirely different things for their future! a massive/arguably the whole point for nancy’s character is that she doesn’t want the life of a suburban mom and that’s what steve wants. so it wouldn’t be fair for her at all.

- lumax endgame! they’re by far my fav couple and they build eachother up and help eachother so much their just perfect together! at the very least i pray they both live and if they don’t technically end up together i’m hoping it’s at least foreshadowed and left open to interpretation ?

- this isn’t a hope ofc but i do think it will happen: eleven dying, specifically to save someone else. in a way i think out of all the deaths it makes the most sense, because it all kinda started with her and she is very likely to sacrifice herself for one of her friends (will/mike/max?). i literally love her sm so i will sob if this happens but i do think it makes sense.

- i truly believe at least one of the wheelers will die. tbh, i’m kinda shocked that they’ve remained relatively untouched all these seasons but i do they at least one of them will die. i feel like holly, the mom or dad is most likely. PRAYING it’s not nancy.

- one of the core four will prob die(aka johnathan, robin, steve or nancy). i feel like in order of most to least likely it’s steve, robin, johnathan, then nancy. it’ll def be sad but i do think it’ll happen.

- idk if im delusional but im stupidly really hoping nothing will happen to will. ik everybody believes he’s cooked but i just feel like it would be so unfair bc his character had basically been all about that. also, i truly can see eleven or someone else sacrificing theirselves for him. i do kinda feel like one of the byers will die but im really hoping not.

- i genuinely don’t know what i think, want or believe when it comes to mileven or byler. i feel like they honestly all need to be single (if they all make it out alive), bc they’re so young and have been through so much. also i love both will and el soo much and don’t want to think of either of them heartbroken or dead lol.
