If you’re in the habit of helping small creatures, as I am, here’s how for snail. Prob also applicable for aquatic snails.

Protip: When all of the comments about something being misinformation link to the exact same source, that's a sign something might be fishy with that source and you should consider doing more research on your own before trusting it.

I didn't see the comments, I thought the image was AI based on the comment about the shell not being a handle in the image itself.

If I remember correctly (i queue posts months in advance on here), this blog post was one of the first links in my internet search on snails and this image.

I have a strong squick about snails (and slugs), so I will admit I probably didn't look as closely as I normally do.

The image is still probably at least partially AI generated as far as I can tell and if so that still makes the information it provides as suspect, even if it turns out to be correct information.
