Poeple are talking about how writers made Lucifer dirty in the finale and I agree at some level, but also... I think this completely reasonable (and defensive) reaction.

Imagine that - being one of the most powerful beigns in all creation. God's favourite. Creator of stars and galaxies. He saw the birth of the Universe. He was there when there was nothing, and when nothing become something. And now - chained to Hell, unable to see the stars he helped creating, unable to see anything outside this ugly place where everyone who ever misused his gift are. And there in the red starless sky is Heaven. His home.

Heaven, who made him powerless king. Heaven that made him look at sky and see everything that he was before. Heaven that made him into a joke. King who is unable to rule because he feels this ugly mix of guilt and hatred towards sinners, the most hated being in all creation (as Adam said) who cannot hurt sinners even in self-defense.

Based on what we saw it is quite obvious that Lucifer suffers from depression and deep trauma (probably PTSD). There is so many fucked up things about his behaviour that if I ever gave him as a material to my friend that study psychology she could probably wrote a few thesis just about him.

And now the cherry on the top.

Cause there is literally one thing that keeps him alive. That is his daughter. Charlie. He even sang a whole song about her being 'the only thing worth fighting for'. She is literally his only reason to stay alive. The first star he created since his fall.

And what she does? She kicks him out of Hotel. The place that he probably started calling HIS HOME. The place he HELPED to built. And the worst part is that it isn't even the first home he helped to build and later was kicked out.

And what was the worst part? He was expecting that. Remember how he hid behind the couch? He knew what was coming for him. He knew that he fucked up and was scared. And Charlie (Who's behaviour was so frustrating on some parts, like I love her, but girl is too naive. Which is kind of necessary character trait to have, when you decide to redeem sinners.) completely missed that.

So here he is. Depressed. Alone. Hurt by his own daughter. And then he finds himself trapped in the machine, because some box guy pretended to be his daughter. The daughter that hates him. He is truly a pathetic joke, isn't he?

And then he is tortured (cause let's call it by a name), he is in true physical pain, one he probably didn't feel since Fall, and everything is just so funny isn't it? He got tricked. His daughter hates him. And now he is used as a weapon against his first home. And how he could fucked up this so much? How he became this?

So he jokes. Cause this the only thing he can do. And because in some way he gave up.

That being said, I really hope the writers are cooking sth for 3rd season. Cause as much as I loved analysing this, it was anticlimactic to watch how Lucifer joked during sth that clearly was traumatic experience.

That being said I may write fanfiction about this, cause I empathise with him a little too much for my comfort.

And I love how Cherri and Husk became friends, unexpected but welcomed. Over this whole shit that happened this season I am glad that some good things were happening in the background.

I just cannot stop thinking about VOX DEI and this absolute masterpiece of lyrics.

The title 'Vox Dei' means 'The Voice of God' in Latin and I think it says a lot about how Vox perceives himself. Which is even more interesting when we compare it with this one sentence:

'I'm the furor', which is a pun for German 'fürer' and well, we all can think about one person who used this title. And the similarities between Vox and Hitler are hitting hard now. Which is also creating an interesting view on Vox character - he thinks that he is a Messiah that would save Hell, slaughter Heaven, become the God and destroy the status quo, but this one line is basically saying that he is a true villian and that he would be remember as one. And it also proof that not all of the sinners can be redeemed.

'I'm your Omega.' This is a reference to the Bible. To the quote from Revalation 22 'I am Alfa and Omega, the First and the Last, the Begging and the End'. (Also when I was watching it for the first time instead of 'avatar of your consequences' I heard 'alfa of your consequences' which is suitable too. And he kind of is the product of Heaven ignorance - the begging of consequences.) Vox thinks he will bring the End to the Hell and Heaven as we know it.

'I'm the flood.' Another reference to the Bible. Something that we could name the personification of God's wrath. The flood that wiped out 'the unworthy', so basically everyone except Noe and his family. I guess Vox sees himself as God - he will judge Heaven, but he also could perceive himself as Noe - he will be the one that would rebuild the world after 'the flood'.

We also have: (Maybe i will come back to this later, now I am to lazy)

'Say your goodbyes to your kingdom.' It's reference to the Christian 'Kingdom of God'.

'Declaration of Holy War'. The Holy War basically means 'The religious war.'

And his final look. The cables and monitors that looks like angel's wings (to be even more precise - Vox chose 3 sets of them, which basically mean he thinks he is equal match to seraphim and Lucifer). And let's talk about his shark. When I looked at him for the first time my first thought was 'Leviathan', which is biblical beast. In Christian culture it is believed that it is the monster that it is threath to the God creation. (The Leviathan appeared a lot outside of the Bible, and there is a lot of cultural things going around it. For once it's also believed that the Leviathan would eat the sinners at the end of the world. And I would not be surprised if Vox's pet would eat him at the end.)

What gets me is how the story began with Vi and Powder, and we thought that it was going to be the story of sisterhood and them saving the world, but now we found out that the true protagonists were this one inventor that sisters stole from and his bff/wizard/cosmic being

I'm this close to rewriting Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom with seventh character who is aroace and spends the whole plot being 7th wheel and is 100% done with whatever is happening in the lovelife of the rest.

Bunus points when they are quite hot, but totally obvious and unable to use their 'power' for anything.

Double bonus points if for some ungodly reason they are always in the background when the main love choices are made and when they finally realise what is happening it's too late for them to leave without noticing

Lucifer slowly blinked. Blinked again. Finally, he smiled. And suddenly in the place of angry demon with too many wings and too many eyes, stood blond figure with rosy cheeks. For some reason he held rubber duck in his hand.

'Hell yeah, girls’ night!' Lucifer, king of Hell, the sin of pride, self-proclaimed 'Big Boss of Hell' screamed.

I absolutely love how Alastor laments about how hungry he is for freedom and how horrible the deal is and how desperate he is for a loophole in it and then when he presents himself to the others the first (and I think only one) he actually looks straight in the eyes when he arrives is Husk(er), who he should know has similar feelings to his own deal with him and he looks at him like this:

Does he just genuinly not view Husk as a person who has feelings and thoughts and wishes like he does?

Why is he looking at him like this?

Husk was really 'I love them more than I hate you.'

Seeing Husk in this two episodes was truly delightful. He didn't have a lot of screentime, but I absolutely adored every little thing he did to protect and show his affection towards his totally not found family friends.

So… nobody is going to mention how Lucifer, the embodiment of sin, said 'by God'?

I just can't with Vaggie, the pure joy on her face when she saw her former boss/maybe-creator die was 'chef's kiss'.

And don't even start with how unimpressed Lucifer is. (I loved him so much in this episode, this little OP short fallen king.) (And Angel's :0 is so in his style. )

I love the irony and pure poetry in Adam's (also known as the biggest douchebag in all creation) death.

He didn't even deserve to be killed by Lucifer or Charlie or even Alastor. No, his death come in the form of maid, who doesn’t even quite understand what is happening. It's the fitting death for someone who believed himself to be some powerful, immortal being that could not be killed.

Pure irony.

Okay, but Lucifer? Is nothing I expected and it's so much better.

He is literally i-only-asked-a-question type of fallen angel and I'm here for it. But this is also kinda depressing.

It appears that he is the only fallen angel in this universe, who was literally put in charge of hell, which he cannot leave and is destined to watch over for rest of eternity.

The fact that he is self-isolating himself from the rest of Hell and that he clearly despise his subordinates. And I can understand it, especially after watching his clear dislike of violence and gore. It was said that he would never see anything good in people again, and if it isn't a true.

Oh, and usual Lucifer talking about his angel-siblings! In most media Lucifer is always angry, always has this 'why would you do this to me?!' kinda of vibe. But here? He just looks sad, broken, depressed and so lonely. And 'they never listen'.

Don't know what rest of the show will bring, but for now he appears to be just sad angel, who loves his daughter and his ducks a little too much, with so many issues that you could probably wrote your whole thesis based only on this one episode. (I certainly would.)

And the fact that person like this is destined to rule over Hell is driving me nuts. (And him too.)

Words cannot describe how happy I'm for 3rd season of Hilda. I know it's basically kid show, but it is one of the most adorable series I had ever watched. With amazing characters (and main female protagonist that is both strong and yet has weakness, Disney make notes!), beautiful animation and breathtaking world-building.

Go watch it. You would not be disappointed.

(Wait, I just saw it was final season. What do you mean that my fav comfort show is ending?!)

MCU Loki: Loki is the one who create Yggdrasil, the Tree of the World. (Well is not norse mythology's Yggdrasil, but the sentiment stays.)

Also I would love to see Loki variant that decided to end the world only to find out that he is the one holding this whole shit together. I dare to say, that our Loki would not appreciate that.

the new mlb special made my heart explode when I saw how happy Nooroo was, and then I realized about the markings from the Supreme that Plagg and Tikki had on their mouths... which probably means that the other kwamis have them as well... my heart :(

I had so many questions about Supreme, kwamis and their world!

I actually have a theory that whatever happened to kwamis, was a result of Gabriel steeling his miraculous. He told Mari and Adrien that once he was serving Supreme, but decided to betray him, taking butterfly miraculous with him. After this Supreme could want to bind kwamis to himself, to prevent unlocking their full potential in case he would ever be betrayed again. (And he was, which is quite obvious. Dude seems like a nasty person, who treats his henchmen like shit.)

Or maybe Plagg and Tikii are exceptions, because they are the most powerful kwamis. But how he did that? Is it the part of the wish?

It's quite obvious that Supreme made a wish and he altered an universe, but why? And how? Who is he in original universe? Did we met him? What was his wish? Or did he made multiple wishes?

So many questions, it's a shame that they will probably would never return this project. It seems as something too dark for their targeted audience.

I’m the only one who saw intro-Gabriel and instantly went ‘he looks like anime protagonist’? And I’m absolutely charmed about color palette?

Dark, redish and pinkish colors when we see his past and his struggles,

then purple when he is mourning, (plus the way Adrien's green reflects on him?)

and finally light purple and blue after he find his purpose?

Red and blue make purple, so I guess the mourning part is like the time between his worst and his best, his past and his future, and I love it so much.

Forget main universe, I want series about whatever is happening in this paralel universe - I have so many questions, that needs to be answered.
