I would have so been a snowwolf fan. Nerd-hoes with glasses are my one weakness. š«š
I love them so much
Some of the repetitive questions here made me think "Do y'all need a visual guide?" So I did it.
If I did any mistakes in interpreting your many answers, please say! I will edit anything I need to for it to be actually respectful & accurate.
OH MY GOD THANK YOU THATS PERFECT
Do you mind if I add it to the FAQ (with credit of course <3)
Hello! I really enjoy your headcanons about the *Touchstarved* love interestsātheyāre so entertaining and fun to read. Iād love to ask you a question, though: how do you think Leander, Ais, Vere, Kuras, and Mhin would react if the MC told a bad joke? Their reactions must be absolutely hilariousāI can't wait! Please take your time, though; Iāll be patient. Don't put any pressure on yourselfāIām happy to wait.š¤š¤
Thank you very much !
A/N: thank you so much for this request, I had a blast writing it. Iām glad you enjoy reading my content!! Iāve been on hiatus recently cuz of my full-time job, but since I quit Iām getting my creative juices back! Time to exercise it lol. Hope you enjoy this one :D
Touchstarved LI x gender neutral! Reader telling a bad joke
Leander: a pause, before he lets out a laugh. Itās one of those well-practiced, rich people laughs. Itās like a mix of him feeling sorry for you or him genuinely laughing (at how bad it was). āyou say the most interesting things, MC.ā Thanks, Leander (?)
Ais: has that smarmy smirk on his face while looking at you. He would t e a s e. would bring it up throughout the day just to see you flustered. If it was like a dad joke then Ais would start wondering like with small talk. Why do humans think this is funny?
Kuras: finds it endearing because it reminds him of the harmless imperfections of humanity (hopefully he doesnāt say that to you).
Mhin: side e y e. If itās really bad, it will get under their skin. If itās clever, they might crack a smile. Either way the terrible joke is stuck in their head for the rest of the day bc they secretly thought your delivery was cute.
Vere: would match your energy and say an equally bad joke. Now youāre in the awkward position. Bet you canāt make a worse joke hehehe
While neighboring wild reefs experienced bleaching rates as high as 80%, Dr. Nazurally's reefs experienced just as much in survival rates
From the article:
Organizations like the Mauritius Oceanography Institute, and the University of Mauritius, and Odysseo Oceanarium, now work to advance the science of heat-resistant coral breeding, and Nazurallyās success seen last summer is a testament to the progress the countryās marine science community has made. Odysseo has leveraged advancements made worldwide in the science of predicting spawning events to create a program of timing coral reproduction and collecting eggs and sperm from the corals by boat. These are then used to breed corals in protected nurseries, with those coral phenotypes that survive in warmer water being selected to reproduce. A study published by Dr. Nazurally in the summer showed that the hydrozoan genus (similar to coral) Millepora, when bred in this way, showed a 99.8% survival rate during the bleaching, compared to an 88% average rate across all coral genera, and a 10% survival rate for corals bred with previous methods and without a focus on heat-resistance.
"lock in" is probably one of the most important phrases to enter the public lexicon in the 2020s

do you ever have a conversation and think āI am not heterosexual enough for thisā
i know i've been talking a lot lately, but i had to let this out somewhere.
Valko's cancellation is devastating on so many levels, but one way its blade has stabbed me is through the irony of it all.
i've said in another post (linked here) that Love and Deepspace has always been vocal about the importance of art. Xavier holds up second-hand bookstores and connects with his beloved over it. Rafayel is a literal painter in a world full of technology and is admired for the emotions his art evokes. Sylus finds solace in music. Zayne admires the stories artifacts in museums tell. Caleb likes diagrams of planes and finds happiness there.
art has and will always be one of the closest ways we can retain our humanity and keep ourselves happy.
but taking Valko away sends the message that his story, along with the works of so many creatives, are beneath the importance of profits and opinions of a select few. Infold is a multi-billion dollar company, so i never thought they would care about anything more than maintaining their profits, but the irony of it all isn't lost to me. i wish they would take their own message and learn from it.
it also baffles me how easily they let Valko go. as a creative person, i will defend my creations from baseless rumors if needed because i know my work better than anyone else does, and i will never abide by the words of a select few whose only interests are their own.
Infold/Papergames knows Valko better than anyone else does, and they know how much work was put into his character. why didn't they defend him more? why did they think his story and his future weren't worth defending? how do you let your creation go just like that?
Valko's cancellation is an example of greed, and ironically, Infold looks so much like EVER as a result of it.

I've seen a fair amount of fat liberation activists explain that they have always been fat, they're not about to stop, and that's natural and beautiful and fine. That's an incredibly important message.
What I've seen less - and what I want to remind people of - is this: if you've become fat, that's also natural and beautiful and fine.
When you're a fat person who has been thin in the past, that comes with its own brand of shaming. People take your history of thinness as proof that you don't have to be fat. You often fear the look of disappointed surprise in the eyes of someone you haven't met since you were thin. People try to determine "what happened". They don't see your fat body as just you, but as a sort of symptom that isn't part of you.
Becoming fat is not a tragedy, it's not a sign of failure, it's not a bad or shameful thing. The thin you is not the Real you. You are always real and always worthy of freedom, respect and peace. You are allowed to be fat no matter how or when you became fat.
Disappointed but not surprised. (this is abt infold)
That company had a whole fiasco with Infinity Nikki with a complete beginning story rework a year ago. And didnāt a lot of ppl lose a lot of their early game assets that they bought or felt their money was wasted?
We were probably in a "you're mine" sorta dynamic?
