B-127 (Transformers One) befriends a human for the first time!
It's Bumblebee's destiny to go to Earth and make friends with humans, no matter the continuity! (Not looking at Skybound)
Skipping the millions of years of war, it was only a matter of time before Optimus Prime and his crew take refuge on Earth... What will happen?
Also he can talk in this version. If I get requests, I will definitely write a version where B-127 became mute during the war! That would make the human encounter very interesting. I would also gladly write a part two if it makes anyone happy!

"B-127. What are you doing?"
Bee froze as Prowl called his name, and he turned around with a sheepish smile.
"Well, I'm. I was going to explore. Scanning the perimeter and stuff! right?"
Prowl studied him, expression like stone. "Optimus Prime told you to stay away from the native lifeforms."
"Psshh, I wasn't gonna go see the humans, I was-... I was... I mean I might if I have to. BUT- BUT!..." His nervousness turned to excitement as he explained himself. "I've been watching human transmissions with Wheeljack's stuff, right? And I think I totally figured out how to act like a normal human vehicle, they'll NEVER know I'm actually a robot in disguise! Basically you follow the-"
"No. Stay away from human cities."
"Okay. Alright. Gotcha..." B-127 frowned in disappointment as Prowl walked away. "...Okay well, off to scan that perimeter! Tell OP I'm off to be extra stealthy! In the woods. And nowhere else."
Prowl didn't respond in any way.
B-127 tried his best to resist the urge to go spy on humans. But it was so cool to know there was another thinking lifeform on this planet... What do they do to have fun?? What stories do they have?? Imagine how funny it would be to see them react to Cybertronian stuff!...
The autobot groaned to himself as he strode through the alien woods, stepping over logs and streams. He tried to distract himself and focused on the lifeforms he was allowed to interact with... Even managed to smile as he spotted something fuzzy and brown crawling on a tree.
Another creature in a tree was letting out small high-pitched cries, repeating the same few notes again and again. Bee stared at the animal and tried to mimic the song loudly back at it, causing the animal to fly away, to his amazement.
"So cool."
Every beast distracted him, and he followed one after the next... Until he spotted something strange ahead. A triangular yellow form, almost as big as him.
He squinted and cautiously approached to inspect the object. He was pretty sure this was still deep in the woods... No way this was a human thing. Definitely an animal or a plant he's never seen before.
As he reached the yellow object, he only felt even more confused. It was just... A yellow pyramid shape, barely moving in the breeze. Each corner tied to the ground... Definitely the weirdest plant he's seen on this planet.
He stood in front of it, and put his hands on his hips, unsure what to do about this thing. "...Huh."
He hesitated... And poked it. Swish swish. Rubbery texture...
"GET AWAY! I... I have a pepper spray!!" A human voice came from inside the yellow pyramid.
B-127 instantly jumped out of his metal hide, stumbling back, and transformed mid-fall into his alt mode with the sound of a mechanical crash.
In response, a human stormed out of the yellow thing in a panic, instantly spotting the car and taking a defensive stance with a small cylinder device in hand.
They both stared at each other.
B-127 was mortified and terrified. How did he let this happen? All he could do now was stay hidden as a car and hope the human would eventually leave. He was in so much trouble.
The human studied the car, dumbfounded. "...What the f..."
They looked really scared too, as they hesitantly moved closer to circle the vehicle, inspecting, looking around, searching for someone hiding behind or inside the car... They even dropped to the ground to look under the car as Bee awkwardly sat there and tried to... play dead, basically.
Human vehicles... don't go in the woods... Right?... He never saw a vehicle in the woods in any the Earth things he watched... Human vehicles don't go in the middle of the woods!! B-127 screamed on the inside. His presence might be suspicious even as a machine that was completely normal on this planet! This. Was. So bad.
His metaphorical optics went wide as the human then tried to open his doors. By reflex he kept them locked.
"....SHOW YOURSELF OR I'M CALLING THE COPS!!" The human called out into the woods to the imaginary owner of the car.
They were already pulling out a communication device. The cops... Wasn't that human authority? That was bad. So bad. To have human authority investigating these parts of the woods...
"Wait-...!" He shocked himself as he stopped the human from pressing buttons on their device.
The human froze, staring at the windshield in confusion.
"...I uh... Hey, hi- um... Hear me out for a minute. Please??"
"...What- that's happening??..."
Naively, B-127 transformed right before the human's eyes. He tried to transform as gently as possible, not too fast because he didn't want to startle the human, and not too slow because he didn't want to give them the time to run away.
The human's jaw dropped.... as well as their phone, as they stumbled away in a panic. Still, they didn't run away, just staying there like a deer in the headlights a nice 15 feet away or so.
In just a few seconds a giant robot rose from the shifting car parts.
Once he was done, B-127 looked down at the human with the most awkward and apologetic smile he's ever done. "Heyyyy... Hii... Yeah it's probably a lot, but-"
"You're not real-... There ain't NO way!..." The human blurted out as they started stepping backward.
"Wowowowowoah, eaaaaasy..." B-127 showed his hands like that could calm someone down. "Don't go anywhere! I gotta tell you my story first! Okay?" He said as continued walking forward. "I'm friendly! Just let me explain!"
As they continued to step away from Bee, the human tripped and fell on their back.
The autobot winced. "Oh! Hey, careful buddy! You okay?" He asked as he loomed over the frightened human. "Y'know, you're a bigger danger to yourself than I am, i guarantee it. Do I help you up or...?"
"Don't touch me!!"
His optics widened as he raised his hands and took a step back. "Okay! Okay... I got you. Hands to myself now. Sorry."
The human's panic subsided a little bit as B-127 moved away on command. "...What the hell are you. How are you real?"
B-127 smiled nervously. Part of him was genuinely excited though, even if he knew he was in huge trouble with no way back now. "Okay, hear me out-... You're sitting down, and you probably want to stay down, because I'm about to blow your human brain. Okay here we go... I... am an alien." He actually went quiet on purpose for once, to take in the reaction.
The human stared, dumbfounded. "...Nope, still no way you're real..."
"I totally am! Do you wanna touch? Look!" He reached out to the human without touching them, barely noticing how it startled the poor human. "I mean I'd touch you but you also told me not to touch you, so..."
"Eh... Err..." With the expression of a frightened animal trying to look tough, the human stared at the giant robot, his hand, back at him... Then finally reached out. The tiny soft hand landed on a metallic finger the size of a whole arm.
The human's yes widened with fascination as they felt the strength of the joint, cautiously applying a small amount of force to test it.
Meanwhile B-127's face lit up with a huge smile and the eyes of a kid seeing fireworks for the first time.
The human noticed Bumblebee's face and quickly cringed in horror, pulling their hand away.
"What?? Oh-" B-127 cleared his vocal components and tried to shake the crazy out of his face. "I'm sorry- this is just... so COOL I can't believe I'm actually making friends with a human!" Even though he tried his best to hide his excitement, the giddiness quickly crawled back to the surface, almost making him squeal and shake his fists.
"Uh... Friends?..." The human replied, confused.
"Yes!! Optimus Prime's spark is going to flatline when he finds out, for sure! But I know he'll come around when sees how cool you actually are! This is the first step to my kind being friends with your kind! This. Is. Awesome!"
The human still looked very confused, staring at B-127, although... with a lot less fear.
"You... just met me..." They said hesitantly.
The autobots smile partially faded. "Oh-... Um... Right." B-127 kept smiling, but it was like something hit him. "Right! Duh... Obviously! But... I mean- this is going... well! You're uh... You're not attacking me or running away from me screaming!... That's pretty good!..."
Something new appeared in the human's eyes... A hint of guilt or sympathy.
"...You actually just want to be friends?..." They asked.
"Well... Yeah! I mean- I also don't want you to tell all the other humans about me, y'know- but also who wouldn't wanna be friends with an alien?? Oh wait. You wouldn't call yourself an alien right? Yeahh, this is your planet... Huh. Does that make sense? Sorry I'm... a little nervous. I'm actually pretty cool and composed, usually."
The human stared at him for a moment, looking almost... sorry. "...Right... I-... maybe I can be your friend-"
B-127's face lit up with unfiltered joy again, this time with an audible squeal.
The human quickly raised their hands to calm him down. "Relax! Chill out-... This... This is still... way too much for me. All of this."
"Oh. Yeah yeah yeah. Right." He replied, forcing himself to regain some seriousness as he straightened up. "I figured, you know? That it might be a lot to take in. For a human. But don't worry!! I have all the answers you want~" He said smugly.
"...How... How can an alien sound so... human?... You just sound like... some guy."
"I have no idea." He paused. "Wheeljack said Teletraan-1 did that when we landed on Earth but I have NO clue how it works."
The human's expression dropped with dread. "There are OTHERS like you??"
"Oh yeah! Like, a small army." He said proudly.
"A-... What-... Why??... Why are you on my planet, exactly??..."
"...Oh, oh. Right, I just realized an alien army on your home planet probably sounds bad. But don't worry! We come in peace, I swear on my spark, my t-cog, every single one of the plates covering my pain receptors... Seriously, our leader Optimus Prime would NEVER allow anything bad to happen to your kind and your planet. He's the coolest guy ever, and also my best friend." He said with pride making his optics glow as he put his servos on his hips.
"...But why are you here?..."
"Right, yeah, I wasn't avoiding the question, uh..." His smile faded. "We're... Uh... We had to leave our planet... Because there's a war going on... And our resources are going dry..."
"..."
"B-but we're not... We don't intend to take YOUR resources!... Or uh.. not by force anyway, it would be really cool if humans were willing to give us what we need but- but we're not... We're not here to steal. So I guess we're just hiding for now..."
"...I'm sorry..."
He smiled softly. "Meh, it's all good. I know as long as we have Optimus Prime, we're gonna be A-okay!" He said with conviction.
The human was thoughtful for a moment, at least it didn't look like they wanted to run away anymore... "....So... What's your name?..."
"Oh! Wow, I completely forgot to introduce myself! My name is B-127, but my friends call me Bee... Usually cybertronians eventually pick a better name to replace their creation name, but uh... well... the names I come up with never really stick..."
"...Aw... Um... Well... Maybe you'll find some inspiration on Earth..."
"Maybe." He said with a smile "That would be pretty cool, to have a name from an alien planet... Honestly it's better than... getting a name from war... not that war isn't... uh... cool..." Suddenly there was a hint of exhaustion in his optics.
"...Hey.... You okay?..."
"...Yeah! I'm good!... So anyways, what's your name??" He asked, regaining a spark of excitement as soon as he turned his attention back to the human.
"I'm.... Charlie..."
"...So we're officially friends now right?" He asked. "We know each other's names... We're talking..."
"Charlie.... Chaarleeee.... I have no idea what that word means, but... It sounds nice!..."
"Uh... Thanks..."
The human studied him for a moment, their expression softening. "...I... Yeah, I guess we're friends."
He beamed with joy. "Hoooooly Primus... Okay! Okayokay, I have SO many questions about humans!- First how do you live without energon?? No wait- scratch that. How are humans even made?? You grow from the dirt, like plants? I bet that's what happens- is that what happens??"
It's a good thing Charlie had a tent set up, because they were going to be here all night.
I was reading some transformers fanfiction and it's a solely underutilized idea to have humans and Cybertronians be in a symbiotic relationship. In nature all the time big animals will rely on smaller animals' help.
For example humans could give repairs, clean them, and help them reach smaller places. Cybertronians can give transportation and protection of course. They're emotional benefits too; humans are really nice soft things to touch and humans like having big robot friends :3.
So I'm imagining transformers realize how useful it is to have a human partner around so they start going around trying to get one. Anyways this leads to shenanigans of course and a lot of cracky moments.
Suspiciously nice looking car in a driveway with its door opened: ....
The random human who owns the driveway: ...
Human: *turns around* Screw that! I'm not becoming part of the human distribution system today, no sir I am not.
It's a real shame because this is literally one of Optimus Prime's dearest wishes in my opinion, and some official Transformers media try to make this point with "humans shouldn't underestimate themselves and feel like insects because they can do things that autobots can't."
Love your little how yo draw characters you just posted^^
You mentioned in it giving Ford a tummy, have you ever giving him one? XD chubby Ford means he’s loved and eating well
Anyway, love your art!
I have not but I really should! ;w;
I think he keeps up with his workout regimen, even when out in sea for a while but then he slowly finally feels relaxed enough to let go. I think also Stan played a part in that as well to have unhealthy eating habits :p What's one more bag of jelly beans? Lol
"Passingly, I think that this might always have been inevitable, that perhaps she had always known it but had wanted to hold on for me, for as long as she could."
