Absolutely loved it!

And now my brain wants to fit all the characters into Alice In Wonderland (like it does with all good media I like)

This is based off of my love of the 1951 animated movie of Alice In Wonderland, not the book.

Not super sure about the line up, but it makes me happy lol

Finally got to watch Dust Bunny. I firmly believe at least part of Fuller's intention was to dress Mads as ridiculously as physically possible. This movie one-hundred percent is the sort of thing you would have expected Tim Burton to make when he was still making quirky simple things.

The monster's design is somewhat... questionable..., but it doesn't exactly feel out of place in this world, where even the things that are really are just so oddly off.

I just. This movie has a simple premise: little girl hires an assassin to kill the monster under her bed. A lesser movie would be coy with this- the monster isn't real: it's her brain's way of processing trauma. There would be ambiguity. Hell, Mads spends most of his time being genre-wrong and thinking he's in that sort of situation.

Unfortunately for Mads, the monster is not Man, it is in fact, a very really, giant fluffy rabbit. It's stupid, absurd, but fun nonetheless.

Just watched Dust Bunny (which is rated R, for reasons I cannot really fathom, but for my younger mutuals, there is some gore and swearing, though no swears you wouldn't find in a PG-13 movie and very infrequent, if I am remembering correctly) and I'm GOING to talk about it.

Watch this movie. Do you want to love become a balm to brokenness? Watch this movie. Do you want the rare "You are being adopted as my father; please do not resist" trope? Watch this movie. Did you like the Mandalorian but want to see what it would be like if Grogu could talk and was also a little girl? Watch this movie. Do you want to be impressed by Mads ability to clamber around on furniture and walls? Watch this movie. Do you want to enjoy a surprisingly plot relevant ottoman? Watch this movie.
