The first time:

He is surrounded by white (bravery) and is wearing yellow (cowardice)

The world is telling him to be brave, but he can’t, not yet, because he is a coward.

He has lost his identity and autonomy

The decision is already made (he must die)

He is all alone (he doesn’t have the bravery gene)

The second time:

He is surrounded by yellow (cowardice) and is wearing white (bravery)

He is in the middle of his namesake: a field of rye. The field is the yellow of cowardice; that is who he was, but he can’t be that, not anymore, because he is brave.

You know who you are. You’ll do great.

The decision is already made (Rocky must live)

Rocky’s ball is beside him (he has found someone to be brave for)

My Ryland Grace mii found his favorite food……..

The video is a tomodachi life: living the dream clip where the sea splits open to dramatically display a mii’s favorite food. My Ryland Grace mii is shown looking adoringly at a glowing piece of white bread. Then I say, “son, it’s a slice of white bread.” My brother starts laughing, the screen starts to fade to white, and I repeat “it’s a slice of white bread!” (But I was cut off because I had to shorten the video so it didn’t fade to a dark enough screen that my or my brother’s face was visible in the reflection). That’s the end of the clip.

I was watching project hail mary with a friend, again because I love it, and I was just wondering if anyone else thought that this place in Rocky’s ship was the Eridian’s version of the “don’t go crazy room” <- the room in Grace’s ship that has the screens ans visuals of earth

Because the blocks produce sounds when Rocky touches them—are they making sounds from home? Messages perhaps? Little audio reminders?

Kind of like how Grace has the screens to see home?
