genuinly tho i love to think about the human mannerisms rocky must have picked up while alone with grace for years. do you think he returned with an accent? completely different body language? sayings and idioms that make no sense when translated? it's so dear to me.

My woke take, as someone who has worked in both a public library and a school library, is that we desperately need both more books that are at a higher reading level but a less mature subject matter, and more books that are at a lower reading level but a more mature subject matter, because 8 year olds who are advanced readers are still 8 year olds and don't want to read about graphic violence and torture, and teens and adults who have learning difficulties or who are just later readers for whatever reason are still teens and adults and don't want to read about Billy the Bunny going to school or whatever the hell.

I wish humans had monkey tails (most likely tail we'd have ngl) because it would be so cute. There's an alternate world out there where people are dying their tails and buzzing patterns into them and getting tail accessories and tail piercings. God could you imagine

There's a reason why white adults have so few genuine friendships across racial lines.
When I met my fianceâs African-American stepfather, things did not start well. Stumbling for some way to start a conversation with a man who

"Tutorial" on how to draw an OC with dwarfism (well, some of it).
Boring tired disclaimer: Keep in mind that this is an introductory "drawing" "tutorial" and has some generalizations in it, so not every âX is Zâ statement will be true for Actual People. Which happens to be true for everything in general.
You are heavily encouraged to do your own research because this does not contain everything you should know before making a character with any type of dwarfism.
Consider supporting me on ko-fi if you find this to be helpful.

I am learning Swedish and one thing I have observed is that SWEDISH MEN ARE SO MUCH HARDER TO UNDERSTAND THAT WOMEN.
I truly do not know why. But the average man is much harder to understand than the average woman. Iâd reckon men maybe run their words together more and itâs harder for me to parse the words I am still learning
Interesting! I've never experienced this.
I dont know if this is a swedish thing but I have some kind of subconcious idea that its masculine to have an accent. Maybe there's something to that? Idk.
Or maybe men just tend to not be though that communication is important from childhood
We talked about this in my language sociology class! (SprÄksociologi) A lot of it is because a lot of women are "conditioned" to speak clearer, and with more adjectives. Just generally more thought put in to the language, which generally makes it easier to understand (and a lot of dialects are seen as masculine, especially in Swedish. ESPECIALLY the fuether you get from Stockholm)
