Moonbows

A moonbow, also known as a lunar rainbow or white rainbow, is a rainbow created by moonlight rather than sunlight. for the last few months, not knowing 100 gecs was a band, ive been saying "100 gecs" whenever i meant to say "lmao", "lol" and "lmfao" as a direct result of me misunderstanding this tweet.

my friends knew the band so they didnt have this misconception. and still they just kinda rolled with it??? like imagine something like your friend seemingly randomly saying the beatles, sometimes in all caps in the middle of their messages HELPP

i also thought the amount of "gecs" would change depending on how funny something was, so for example just sort of saying lol at the end of a message would be translated to about 20 gecs. a standard lmao would be about 60 gecs, and a proper LMFAOO was 100 gecs. i had a whole system

11 years ago, monster high's kieran valentine got his own SDCC 2015 exclusive doll. his diary dropped hints abt his crush on this mysterious spelldon cauldronello... 9 years later, i was kindly invited to create a variant cover for a new comic: monster high pride 🌈

in the beginning there was no comic specific look for valentine and spelldon hadnt appeared in any media so i got to give my take on both these cutieful mansters!! i was anxious bc i knew the fans were waiting to see spelldon for sooo many years now...

spelldon was embraced so quickly - it truly warmed my heart!! 🩷 his design is very personal to me. as a kid i LOVED fashion dolls. altho i was too poor to collect much, i usually didn't see dolls that looked like me in the store. so my one wish was for ppl to feel seen by the existence of these characters. for people to go "hey, they look like me!" to say now that i got to be part of this inclawnic couple's long journey is one of my proudest achievements 🙏🏽
