Big fan of when someone has a super sensitive nose. A single strand of hair brushing their nose makes them sneeze. A strong scent immediately sends them into a fit.
Okay- the truth is.. I h-hih-hhaave, uhh- psy-psy- T'SCHhhu! Psychosomahh... hih... Psychosomatic S-sneezes... sihhehh... hd-hh... HEpt'pFfshh! HEP'Yscxhh! HEH-Shyuihh!
It- it means, hehhh... it means that the m-m-more I think about... sndeh... sneh- sneezing-! ATch-ooo! Hah- Hatchzzchh! Hadj'chh! Hept-! Ohh, excyuuhh..se me... HAAHPPsstchh! The more I- !! Heehhd?? Heh-hehh- Hyeehhhh.... Snf! Hsf! HDST! HEEHDT-! HYEAATTSCHHH!! St'tddshHoo!
as much as we all love wet sneezes (and i do share in that love) i do quite enjoy dry sneezes that are just air. like, the kind of sneeze where rather than a "sh-" or a "tsh-" or even a "ch-" it's just an "h-" sound doing the heavy lifting. some cough sneezes are just plain nice, admittedly, but in this case i'm referring to sneezes that still sound like a full sneeze, there's no real teeth or tongue involved.
"Huh-EHHYEWW!"
that kind of thing. they tend to sound just as, if not more intense than other sneezes, just by virtue of the fact that it's just all that air coming out all at once, and the only vocalization is essentially just yelling. it's hard to describe. i just know i like it when i hear it.
When sombody who leaves the room because they just cannot stop sneezing can be heard sneezing as they moke their way down the hall
Or somebody who absalutoly refuses to let this one person (or anybody in genral) hear them sneeze so the second they realize they wont be able to hold back immediately ext only for them to be heard anyways as they sneezed their way down the hall
Or just somebody who is hiding their cold leaves the room every time their about to sneeze and the person their hiding it from is getting worried but then they hear the person sneeze from down the hall and imediatly know just by the sound o their sneezes that their sick ("they only sneeze like that when their sick")
Or they try this trick only for somebody to follow them. They stop abrupy just as the person reaches out to stop them, bending over in a desprete fit of sneezes, unable to hold back any longer.
hayfever is crazy what do you mean it's very common to have unrelenting cold symptoms for weeks or months on end that can be made worse by going outside
Just heard an olympic announcer say someone has an allergy to chocolate that makes them 'sneeze like crazy' whenever they eat it but they still love it and celebrate by eating chocolate
A stuck sneeze, but not in the âI canât sneeze no matter whatâ way. A stuck sneeze as in âI keep sneezing and sneezing and this tickle in the back of my nose wonât move, no matter how much I poke or prod at it I canât get anything to make it go away, and itâs driving me fucking crazy.â A stubborn itch that nothing can resolve, that keeps triggering flurries of sneezes that donât let up once they start, because the nose canât stop until the tickle is gone but no matter what it will not move. That kind of stuck.
currently thinking about a character whoâs so used to their allergies that they just continue a conversation through a fit, sneezing through their sentences without even being phased by it
(bonus points if the person theyâre talking to has the kink and is trying really hard to act normal about it)

right so I posted a drabble about a guy who sneezes all over his hands. then I felt bad for him so I dreamed up a woman to take care of him.

âGive me your hands,â she says, kneeling down in front of the sofa.
Up to now, heâs done fine at hiding them. But sheâs heard all that racket. And now, sheâs closer. Holding something, waiting. Slowly, he pulls his wrists over his thighs, with his palms facing the ground. He gets his hands to hover horizontally, and then her soft fingers touch beneath-Â
âWait,â he rasps- just as a warm, damp cloth makes contact with his palm.Â
She pauses, watching his face. Heâs gone silent- and remains that way, as she gently wipes his hands, taking care of the mess.
He finds himself looking down, away. The centre of his face is still burning disobediently. Certainly, the redness reflects that. Her fussy little sighs are a nice distraction.
â*snnrff! sdfâŚ*â
His eyes start to sting as his nose runs. As the soreness in his face rouses, he sighs, and ducks his face into his inner bicep.Â
ââheuhh⌠hh?â
Heavenâs sakes. His brow wrinkles and his eyelids flutter shut, and at the last moment he tries something impulsive-
And⌠not a good impulse. He pants through parted lips, blinking glassy eyes. Thunder crackles in his temples. Pressure and pain.
âBless you,â she leaves the warm cloth over his hands, and pulls something from the pocket of her sweatpants. âHere. Donât hold them in like that, justâŚâÂ
He draws a thick sniffle, still wrinkling his nose from the threat of another impending sneeze. A dry cloth drapes from her fingers, which are carefully attempting to fold it one-handed.Â
He canât wait. He flinches again violently, curling into his shoulder.Â

They're lying together, A's head on B's chest. A's hair is notoriously wild, curly and feathery and sort of all over in B's face, but they don't have the heart to complain or to move them. Except that B's also been a bit extra sensitive today, high pollen count and all.
Every time B breathes, their chest rises and A rises with it, and their curls brush just ever so lightly across B's nose and cheeks, tickling gently. B's own breath sends the delicate little tendrils dancing.
At first it was mildly uncomfortable, but now - now their nostrils are twitching. They wrinkle their nose, hoping that will help, but the next feathery flutter makes their eyes water, sends a quiver through their itchy nose.
Shit they do not want to sneeze right now. It'll wake A up, disrupt everything. They're simply not going to do that. They turn their face away, seeking an escape from the tickle (and just in case they do end up sneezing, hopefully it won't be all over A). A, sensing their movement, shifts closer to them, somehow managing to chase their flaring nostrils just as B takes a breath in.
Curls flutter against the tip of their nose and shit it's so ticklish, it's - so -
Their breath hitches softly, each stutter of their chest and sharp inhale making the fly-away hair flap like butterfly wings against their face. They blink in panic as their nose fills with a buzzing tickle and -
"Heh-shiew!" B gasps. They try to make it as small and contained as they can, but it still jostles A and what's more the tickle just seems to ricochet around.
"Hm?" A mumbles, tilting their head up toward B in sleepy confusion.
B gets a facefull of A's soft hair, which, as it happens, also smells quite strongly of lavender, and now their hitching uncontrollably, desperately trying to turn even further away.
"Hah-ISHiew! Hih-hih-Yishshoo! Heh-iiihSHIEww - oh. Sorry," B sniffles, then scrubs furiously at their face. Both are now fully sitting up, nap forgotten.
"Bless you," A says emphatically, patting their shoulder. "What's got you all worked up?"
B just shrugs and reaches for the tissues. When they resettle, B makes sure to tuck A's head safely beneath their chin.
