I have so many WIPs still sitting in my gdocs and no desire to finish them, which I'm really heartbroken about. s5 just killed all my motivation to write anything Steddie related and that sucks so much.

I planned a sequel to my steddie cat dads fic where they adopted another cat.

I had this whole arc mostly typed out for my Werecoyote Steve/Vampire Eddie story.

I was going to write this whole dumb au of my Werebat Steve/Vampire Eddie au where they were both Werebats.

And I don't want to touch any of them, the last series literally ruined any will or drive I had to add to any of these. And I'm not willing to just delete what I've written out of my gdoc just in case, on the off chance, I might want to come back to them one day in the future.

Can anyone help me find a Steddie fic?

I'm pretty sure it was an autistic Steve fic, but it could also have been an autistic Eddie fic too. A football team that Steve likes is playing and he usually comes home to get changed before going out to a bar so Eddie doesn't have to watch it with him, but he gets home and Eddie tells him that he doesn't have to go out, he can just watch the game at home.

From memory, Eddie made some sort of homemade dip for Steve and there's a part about putting his favourite sweatpants in the dryer for him to change into.

I can't find it, can't remember when it was posted, but it was so comforting for me to read and I'm a little scared that it was deleted off of AO3. Does anyone remember it?

Steve’s followers can tell that Eddie adores him from the videos, and he’s always more than willing to try out new dishes his husband makes.

I need more fics of nerdy Steve. Look at the company he keeps, with the Party and Robin and Eddie. We know he’s seen Star Wars, and Joe Keery had mentioned in interviews that he loves Star Wars.

I don’t care what he’s nerdy about, Star Wars or Star Trek or Doctor Who or LotR, just as long as Steve gets to be a cute nerd with the rest of them.

Thinking about the desperate things Steve Harrington would do to be loved

Omega/Omega strangers Eddie and Steve have a one night stand where they switched throughout the night, unknowingly getting each other pregnant.

They never swapped numbers, happy to go their separate ways the next morning. Steve goes back to Chicago and Eddie stays in Indianapolis with his uncle. It’s only a few weeks afterwards after their encounter when they both start feeling sick, going to their doctors to confirm that they’re expecting. With no way to contact the other, they accept their fates as single parents.

Fast forward ten years and Eddie is struggling to come to terms that his brown haired, hazel eyed daughter is more interested in sports than books, loving to watch football/baseball/hockey games with her Grandpa Wayne.

Similarly Steve is struggling with his own curly haired, brown-eyed daughter loving books and music and wanting to play instruments so badly. Thankfully her Auntie Robin loves music and is right there to help Steve with his daughter.

Dustin is the one who eventually reunited them, Eddie and Steve delighted to see each other again and eager to tell the other about their pups. Plot twist for them learning they have another child, confused and excited and now wondering how to tell the girls they’re sisters.

What instantly turns you off from a Stranger Things fic? For me it’s anything villainizing Nancy, particularly in Steve stories. It bugs me so much.

Massive pet peeve of mine - when Eddie does something shitty or mean and really hurts Steve, something almost downright cruel, and it's almost resolved immediately and they go back to being a happy couple.

Listen, I'm all for angst and hurt/comfort, but there's a certain point where someone has written Eddie going too far and I can't believe Steve forgiving him so easy.

Another reason why Steve is a high school teacher and not an elementary school teacher is because whenever he sees Billy’s first graders he gets ideasTM about them having their own, and Billy has to talk him down. The reason why Billy is an elementary school teacher and not a high school teacher is because whenever Billy interacts with a teenager, he gets cranky.
