If I had a nickel for every time my favourite character from a media ended up being an AI-powered sentient being with blue-green heterochromatic eyes, an affinity for arts and music, who was once discarded by humans and came back taking the reigns of whatever social circle they ended up with AND who also have some conflicting feelings about say humans, I'd have two nickels.

... Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

My Detroit: Become Human AU concept

I’ve been developing this story in my head for 3 years, and it means a lot to me. Today I finally found the courage to share a tiny piece of it.

This is just a very quick, simple, and rough sketch made on the go, driven by pure inspiration. It’s not meant to be a perfect artwork, just a visual representation of my thoughts and ideas. Please, be kind, this is my first time sharing something so personal.

The Core Idea of the AU:

What if Cole’s mind was successfully digitized and transferred into the RK800 (Connor) body?

About this sketch:

This is the exact moment of the operation. The consciousness is syncing — you can see the same shock and fear in the eyes of the boy on the table and the android chassis above.

The man in the lab coat is actually Kamski. But due to trauma, fear, and absolute shock, Cole’s fading mind desperately clings to something safe. He hallucinates, seeing Kamski as his father, Hank.
