hello fellow artists. google has fallen. pinterest/duckduckgo AI filters don't work. do not despair; here is a list i made of places to find reference images without having to sift through piles of worthless garbage. (for future editing convenience i am just linking my blog post on dreamwidth.)
✨ good places to find art reference that are not full of AI trash 🌈

"My liege! I've been practicing bead art and I'm trying to create an umbrella octopus design! It's not finished my liege, but does this interest you? It will be orange and cute!"
"My leige! I've finished my finest work! Behold! An umbrella octopus made entirely of beads and string!"
"And my liege! Tis not the best part!" I run and hold the little creation over a lamp eagerly before turning off the lights. "It glows!"
Love365 Player Experience & Feedback Survey
Hi everyone! I’m putting together a survey to hear directly from Love365 / Voltage players about their experiences, concerns, and thoughts about the stories and games we love.
The goal is to collect clear, respectful, and detailed feedback from the community, so it can be summarized and, eventually, shared with Voltage to help reflect our fandom’s perspective.
As always, your answers are completely anonymous and no individual responses will be shared. Here’s the survey link:

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. Every response helps us show Voltage the fandom’s experience in a thoughtful and constructive way.
I'd be very thankful if you could share and reblog this as much as possible. This will hopefully help us as a community to share our concerns and opinions in a more visible manner to the team!

KOP - Final Stories
So it finally started. After 4 years of radio silence Voltage finally rang in the final arc to close the lid on this title. The preview indicates that all 5 of the kings, Taki, Kiyohito, Shun, Yosuke and Kaisei will receive a final story.
As most know almost all the main stories that release these days are separated into two parts and Voltage raised the prices for coins stories.
As for the KOP stories that will release it's not a new season, so it's not in parts. Just one final story.
Kiyohito's final story released today an if his story is any indication of what to expect the rest will probably be handled similarly. Possibly Taki or Yosuke might get special treatment for fan favorites or title protag, but the rest should go along those lines.
Kiyohito's Final Story
Kiyo's final story consists of 8 chapter (good and happy ending) + 1 CG of their wedding.
As you'd expect of KOP it added some drama before their happy ever after. So here's the synopsis of what to expect:
MC wishes for security, trust and connection. Usually that's what marriage promises, but she's still insecure about her past failed marriage. So she has to decide if she just wants a common law marriage with Kiyohito or to marry him for real.
Kiyo wishes for the latter to take responsibility, but then he is on the brink of losing his job again. Hearing that, MCs parents are also not that convinced and oppose the marriage.
MC reevaluates her life and thinks about what she really wants. The King of Paradise, clad in the pure white lily of innocence reaches a heartfelt conclusion.
My Opinion
I have to say it was nice seeing the crew again and that every important character got screentime. It was a nice story, but it felt awfully rushed at times and somewhat unfinished. I think it might have been better if they either gave it more chapters or actually separated it in parts.
When Kiyo teared up I got emotional as well so that's nice. It was nice following his character development through the stories.
The CG is also very beautiful. I was worried because the art of Voltage took a dip recently, which left a bad aftertaste in my mouth since they also increased prices for worse quality. I'm glad it looks good but sad that we just got one picture. It really felt like they just wanted to finally close the Kings of Paradise chapter.
Anyways, convince yourself below the cut.
Now let's see what they will do about the rest of the crew

There it is, the new short comic I promised you last week! ^^ Couldn't get this finished yesterday because I'm sick and currently not feeling the greatest, but I'm glad I managed it for today! I put a warning this time just in case, because some images might be a bit uncomfortable for some people to look at, so please heed the warning. I don't think it's too bad, though. I just needed this as an excuse for the fluffy scene at the end, haha.
So in this short comic Mashita is, once again, not having a good time, but it's a hurt/comfort scene, so it ends on a positive note! As the title says, he has a very bad, disturbing dream. I imagine he still might not be completely over his mentor's death, which could give him bad dreams once in a while. Those feelings mixed with the constant stress and worry about Yashiki's and his own lifes in all those spirit cases could produce such nightmares. Also, I'm sure loosing Yashiki would be the greater fear for Mashita than loosing his own life. And since he's already lost a person dear to him, he fears it might happen again. I thought Mashita could perhaps also carry a feeling of guilt within himself for not being there when his mentor died. The feeling that he should have done something to help him still lingers and is also thrown into the nightmare cocktail. I meant to symbolize the feeling of guilt with the blood on his hands in that one scene (he wasn't there to help his mentor, it's "his fault" that he died, so Mashita "literally" has his mentor's blood on his hands). The accusations Yashiki's voice is throwing at Mashita while he is swallowed by darkness are what Mashita fears his late mentor could be thinking of him. Since dreams are weird and things or people in them often are symbols for something different, Yashiki takes the place of Mashita's mentor here.
After waking up, Mashita is in need of comfort (he'd never say it out loud, though). Thankfully Yashiki is right next to him (also it's a good way to shake off the fears if he can hold onto the very person he's dreamt about and make sure he is indeed still alive and well, I can imagine). Yashiki quickly catches that something's not right when he is woken and gives his best to be there for him. Since he knows that Mashita is pretty closed off with his feelings, he offers the comfort he can and patiently waits for Mashita to open up on his own about what troubles him, if he chooses to do so. I hope the monologue at the end is not too out of character for Mashita. Maybe I overdid it a little with the fluffy, warm thoughts he has there. I just really like seeing Mashita as the "hard shell, soft center" type of guy. The soft center is just buried very very deeply under the surface, a very hard place to reach. Well, except for Yashiki. The first part of the monologue is also a little bit inspired by my friend MoonflowerSong's work "Restoration of Broken Things". There is a scene where Mashita notices just how "in sync" Yashiki is with other people's feelinga, I really liked that. ^-^
Anyway, I hope you liked this short comic! Thanks for taking a look, I wish you all a nice week! :)

Oh no! What happened??
Why Momo chased MC? Can you guess? (Just for fun 😂 Ifykyk haha it can be any context you think of.)
Voltages 1 Ep Election
Its kind of insane how many votes there are for an election that gives a 1 episode mini story as a prize 😅 Even more so if its the same length as the mini episodes that released recently. That episode better be absolutely amazing given that its probably more than 600$ worth 😅
It feels even more weird for characters that already have plenty of stories about kisses to win the prize😅 I mean i get why the characters are popular and that they havent been getting new stories because their story concluded or stopped but it feels still crazy.
Ah well. More budget for voltage at least means that the app might live on a bit longer.
Still I wish Voltage would consider increasing the number of episodes with the amount of votes they get.
HLITF Season 5
Today the prologue of Season 5 of Her Love in the Force was released alongside Kagas next Main Story! Surprisingly Goto does not introduce us to a new arc - and what an arc indeed.
After the lovebirds confessed their secret and became official in the last stories, they have ti deal with the repercussions this time. It's not all sunshine and rainbows as there is a strict rule against dating and in the prologue MC ends up getting... Demoted?!
She has to return to the countryside, the cows - yes you guessed it - back to her police box life in Nagano.
They really don't seem catch a break anytime soon in their love life! With the arrival of a troublesome new boss, both her love life and her work life is anything but a rollercoaster ride…
The pain of long distance though might make the times they get to meet each other all the more special and mightbhelp them get to the next stage!
And damn her new boss looks intriguingly shady!
Sanzo (Mikura?) is her new boss and i'm excited to see the police uniform again! Though i have to admit i prefer the golden look of the preview rather than the silver hair of the actual sprite. But damn i am very curious what he will be like.
He could be a new great villain next to Chaen! Or he is an enigma like Tsugaru? In the prologue he does odd jobs around the neighbourhood and its hard to find him, because he's always out doing something for everyone.
I'm also curious whether he might also possibly be the guy that faked MCs CV during season 1? I'm intrigued to find out more.
I'm kind of bummed that she lost her position because i loved how much she grew over the seasons, but it made sense that they would get consequences. I wonder if there's possibly more behind this and MC will work behind the scenes?
We shall see. Also i'm so happy for her that she gets longer hair like she wished for :D
