This bad boy took abt 12 hrs to finish. I gotta say it’s been fun today to look at this compared to work I was attempting as recently as last October where i struggled to put shadows down at all, so, PROGRESS 🕺 also had fun figuring out how to incorporate 15th century clothing morphed for Faerun into his design. All around I’m so so happy with it and excited to keep goinnnggg 🤸‍♀️

My fav part of drawing hualian is differentiating them by my headcanon of their hair types. Xie Lian has silky smooth, straight hair that's always in perfect condition to give him his prince vibes. Hua Cheng has very thick, layered hair that's always a bit wind-tossed from his ghostly aura.
