Neighborhood Free Food Stand Made From Pallets - Instructables

I made a Free Stand for food and non-food items for my neighborhood out of pallets, some painters drop cloth and  steel roofing, and so can you!

The Free Stand is for neighbors to freely give and take free food and  non-food items with space for potted plants and coolers below the  stand.

Neighbors can also do outreach to local farmers, farmers markets,  restaurants, grocers and organizations to source donations for the Free  Stand.

Take what you need, give what you can.

One of our local churches here in ATL did something similar by just repurposing two donated wardrobes!

oooo i can update this cuz i drive by that church all the time! Theyve expanded the number of things homeless folks can get dramatically and its actively restocked by the church and neighbors to this day! theres also a library branch around the block that offers restrooms and some basic social services! City of Atlanta refuses to take care of our homeless neighbors, but the citizens here are doing our best to fill in for them.
