Cannot believe the way Clint was demonstrated to be one of the most intelligent characters and then they just brushed it off for the rest of his run until Hawkeye. But?? A room full of scientists and Clint fucking Barton is the guy who recognises that a door can be tampered with from the other end, even when it’s actually a cube from space.
And it’s such a practical take, too. These people are all running around thinking these fantastical thoughts and Clint, who grew up in an environment where being practical meant survival, looks at the Tesseract and thinks “it’s a door. There’s clearly another side.”
What a year this week has been.
It’s Monday.
It sure as hell is.
The earlier in the day Monday you reblog the funnier this gets
The funniest is if you reblog this on a Monday that is also January the 1st.
LOTR20 / day 7 / 17th december / the anniversary of the return of the king
Now come the days of the King! May they be blessed.
@lotr20 day seven: HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY, THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING! December 17, 2003
the most unrealistic part of izombie - a show where zombies are real and can solve crimes by eating brains - is that the character ravi isn't slamming ass all over the city. like he's supposed to be a medical examiner in seattle which is a $100k+ salary and he's played by rahul kohli and y'all are really trying to convince me this 6'4" doctor isn't knee deep in pussy 24/7?? zombies I can accept but trying to convince me this man with a full head of hair and a british accent has to fight for women's attention absolutely annihilates my suspension of disbelief.
If I had a special bond with a monstrous sea horse I would also feel so, so alive
happy scorpio races day to all those who celebrate 🌊🐎🌊

elijah wood when he fucking. gets here:
Part of the reason Andor is so good is that it has 12 episodes. They would have had a much harder time with only 6 or 7. Take the prison storyline. If it was a short season, they would have done it in 1/1.5 episodes instead of the 3 we got. That would have significantly lessened the impact. Stories need breathing room. There needs to be space for tension to build and plot to sink in. All that to say, the current obsession network bigwigs have with short, quick seasons is doing their content no favors. And we’re lucky to get something a little longer with Andor
Some more Thisby vibes from Glencolumbkille this summer for the day that’s in it
Happy Murder Horse Day!
November Cakes we had at my wedding almost a year ago. Sadly we did not get a better photo of them and the horse figure.
