One thing: Paint Tool Sai had to basically completely stop development of Sai 2 because nobody bothered paying for his program. A license isn’t expensive and you can put it on multiple devices. Please consider buying a license. It’s only around $35 USD, a one-time payment, and it applies both to Sai and his Sai 2 demo.

If you’ve used Sai for a long time without paying, please consider buying a license to show your appreciation for an incredible piece of software.

However, it’s always morally correct to not pay Adobe.

I have just rewatched the princess bride and 1 great movie I should have done a rewatch sooner and 2 I have so much more to talk about now that I remember what actually happens in the movie

@fallen-knight you were exactly right in Jaesa Broonmark and Pierce being the other main characters but I’m focusing on Jaesa specifically as Inigo because she’s my favorite.

I feel like it fits her so well! Especially at the beginning of the movie, where he’s charming but still pretty noble and kind like Jaesa is! But also because at the end of the movie where he goes kinda feral about killing the count I kept imaging Jaesa like that and it did things to my nervous system (specifically the scene where Fezzik is sobering up Inigo and Inigo is soaking wet as he tells Fezzik about how their going to storm the castle and “there will be blood tonight!”? Yeah imagining Jaesa like that does things to me)

Also I think her story fits the most into his motivations, and I think in this au the count is obviously Bara’s, and he killed Jaesa’s parents after they refused to give him a sword and refused to let him take Jaesa as a bargaining chip against them. I think he’d be impressed enough with her audacity at 11 to try and beat him that he’d let her live with only two scars

Also the scene where Inigo asks his fathers spirit to lead his sword also fits in very well with Jaesa’s truth ability, though she’d probably say something about asking her parents to point her to the truth of where the Woman in Blue (Vette) is.

Also Jaesa as Inigo means her and Vette sword fight (and Jeasa would sword fight a lot in general) so that’s obviously a win

Another little thing for the SWTOR dragon daemon thing, this time Kira’s dragon, Säde!

Her name means ‘ray of light’ in Finnish, and I wanted something light related for her name since I feel Kira and Säde would want something that represented the hope they had through escaping Dromund Kass and the Emperor.

(Ignore the messy coloring for my sake)

While I was definitely debating making her a green color, I feel that Säde being red is more fitting in regard to Kira’s past as a child of the Emperor. Säde’s coloring was mostly likely green as a hatchling, but when the Emperor imposed his will on Kira to make her one of his children her dragon’s coloring changed to this red/orange color, mostly because I do believe the Emperor is egotistical enough to make all his ‘children’ look like him in some way, and the same with their dragons.

(It’s kinda implied that the Emperor was a Sith, the species, in one of his first lives so I figured he’d want to have his children’s dragons all look sithy for his own ego.) It’s a bit hard to see, but I tried to give her a nose shape similar to Scourge’s dragon Wrath, alongside a few scales similar to him, as a way to show the influence of the Sith/Emperor on her. If Kira and Säde hadn’t escaped, she would probably be a darker red color and would have changed enough to look straight up sithy.

Her relationship with Kira is very positive though, they relied on each other a lot when they were on Dromund Kass, and when they were on Nar Shaddaa before they got picked up by Master Kiwiiks. I think Säde has the same kind of fiery personality that Kira has, though she probably has an easier time showing her vulnerability/softer emotions than Kira does.

Some extra art, but I’d think that Säde takes great joy in messing with Scourge’s dragon, just like Kira herself does

They’re menaces to each other for a looong time, but like Kira and Scourge, they come to care for each other deeply, though Säde never stops really stops menacing him, it just becomes more fond.

Okay I’ve been playin around with an au I really like, which is basically an au where every force user is born with a dragon that acts as their like, spirit companion (kinda like a daemon? But instead of animals it’s a dragon) and it’s look depends a lot on the type of person, size correlates to force strength/age, ect ect

But I’ve been sketching a bit of different character’s dragons, and the only one I’m more confident to show is Scourge’s (mostly because strangely the design came the easiest to me? And he’s not even my fav)

I feel like he’d name his dragon wrath, both because Scrounge was the Emperor’s Wrath for so long, and for the dramatics of it. I think they’re relationship would be really tense or outright antagonistic at times, especially when Scourge begins to loose his emotions while Wrath seems to become more volatile and emotional.

I wanted to show both my sketch (which I like a bit more) and my (sort of) colored version, also yes there’s a filter on the colored pic because the colors looked really bad just as is, so the filter only really is to make the colors more vivid

Okay this is a bit of a weird thing but the concept in my head has been spinning around and I keep coming back to it over and over again, but I feel like the concept of Lana x Risha x Fem!Smuggler (or whatever gender your smuggler is, I just put Fem because mine is a lady) is soo??

Like, on one hand, Risha and Smuggler are ABSOLUTELY using ‘our girlfriend is a Sith lord’ privileges to get out of trouble the empire (they get a holocall from Lana every time that’s just ‘why do you do this. Do you even know how many calls I’m dealing with’ ‘but it’s okay because you love us and we’re so hot and great riiight? :)’ ‘no’ ‘HEY’)

But in the other hand an outlander smuggler would have been out of carbonate a lot sooner because Risha would have brought up the point of ‘hey if I was Queen we’d have a lot more resources to find them-‘ and I give it a year before Lana’s putting that crown off Risha’s head herself and another year before they find the smuggler

Also they do play sabacc, and it has to be enforced as a sort of fun/not serous thing because everyone in this polycule is competitive and they WILL sit there for hours is they play a serious game because they keep trying to one up each other
