Summary: After saying goodbye at the 4077th, Hawkeye runs into BJ again.

“Going my way, sailor?”  At a familiar voice from behind him, Hawkeye’s breath caught in his throat. He was imagining things, or maybe he was dreaming.  He almost didn’t dare turn around. But he had to, just to know for sure, and there he was—BJ Hunnicutt, cheesy mustache and all.  “Beej,” Hawkeye breathed. “What are you doing here?”  “Same as you, I bet,” BJ said. “Catching a plane out of here. Speaking of which—don’t go anywhere.”  BJ dropped his bag on the bench next to Hawkeye and went to talk to the poor soul that had been put in charge of flights, who had to deal with the masses of people trying to get the hell out of Korea. BJ talked to him for a minute, and then jogged back, as if he thought Hawkeye might have vanished while his back was turned. When their eyes met, a wide smile spread across his face.  “Told you I’d see you again,” BJ said, as he moved his bag aside and took its place on the bench beside Hawkeye. “Although I didn’t think it’d be this soon.”
