definitely not browsing cassette blanks in bulk so that I can make a physical copy of MAG
so I've run into a slight...not really an issue, but a conundrum, and I'd like some thoughts.
I'm creating a spreadsheet to keep track of the tapes, episodes, and statement numbers, and noticed that some statements specifically have A and B parts, assumedly referring to the A and B sides of a tape.
However, in initial planning, I was thinking of putting two episodes on each tape, one on each side. This would mean most tapes would have two statements and two IDs attributed to them, and "realistically" wouldn't make sense, especially if older statements are recorded on the B-side of much newer ones. However, if I were to give each statement its own tape, would I leave the other side blank? Would I break the episode partway to flip to the other side, and if so, where? Should I handle them case-by-case, and have some episodes that are more thematically tied to their tapes or that are set in obviously different eras be given unique tapes?
This is, of course, ignoring the near-double number of tapes I'd need to have on-hand. I'm only thinking of this conceptually at the moment.
if she’s YOUR girl why’s she pondering MY orb??
People be like “ it’s my comfort show” and then it’s the fucking magnus archives

I'd also like to use this opportunity to point out that Grimes is transphobic.

I think Discord should allow server admins to change the collective noun to replace "people" in "Several people are typing...."

Breaking: TikTok is better bc it’s more hostile towards humanity
The lack of video content is what kept us here... I thought we all agree that the best feature of this hellhole was and always will be anonymity.
Tumblr's not asking for my phone number. It's not going through my contacts to try and connect me with my fucking colleagues. I can come here and talk about whatever I want without anyone ever seeing my face or hearing my voice. I don't have to censor myself and hide my interests or enthusiasm out of fear of consequences it might have in my real life.
I think the biggest misunderstanding they have of Tumblr is that they think of it as a social media platform when in actuality it's a blogging platform with social features.
all i hear from that last paragraph is “id rather be spied on by an app and let it gather my personal information to be sold to the highest bidder who wants it to manipulate me into giving them money, than go through the “labor-intensive” process of clicking on a blog and deciding for myself if I liked it”
i don’t care if you hate tumblr but the total desensitization to having your privacy violated and the belief that making decisions for yourself about what content you want to see is too hard and so much work that you’d rather let an app — that was developed by people you don’t know and who you have no reason to trust — study you and everything you do so that it can make those choices for you about what you enjoy ….
like holy shit I wanna laugh but im actually just very concerned.
i can never get over how bizarrely sinister the sherwin williams logo looks. like who POSSIBLY thought this was a good idea. like ‘cover the earth’ sounds sinister. the earth being drowned in paint is sinister. and RED of all colors
it's not sinister, it's just, y'know, color theory
