“The Force brought us together, and kept bringing us together until neither of us could deny our destiny to be together forever.”

i cant put this into words but. yeah. you know.
Your wall of crazy ideas starter pack.
They do have when you think about it.
Let go of your Jar-Jar hate.
Unlike Rey, this boy has an actual character arc (from banished and alone in the forest to aiding Queen, serving as an accidentally successful General and then as a genuinely successful Senator), shows genuine flaws in his character (relentless naivete and ofc, clumsiness), yet still overcomes them to achieve success. And even then, he continues to make some mistakes (Episode II).
Unlike Kylo Ren, he actually has faced real hardship that is not his own fault (being banished from his city and forced to live outdoors due to simply stumbling around and breaking something), and is therefore worthy of sympathy. Even when he does something awful, he does it with the best of intentions (Episode II).
Send that character hate where it’s needed: The Sequel losers.
It’s time to forgive Jar-Jar and show him some love.
I feel like I saw someone try to do something similar to this in a video months ago, but they only covered the main trilogy heroes. I can’t remember where I saw it anyway, but today I felt like making a new version that covered the questions in more detail.
Anakin gets half-and-half in the fifth row because while that’s basically true in his Episode I child form, it’s not true at all in his Episodes II-III young adult form.
A Mary/Gary Sue/Stu doesn’t necessarily have to have every box checked herein, but making it to 3-4 at a minimum would seem like a necessary threshold. And boy oh boy, does Rey fail in every single respect.
