Tidied up my desk and lit a candle to motivate myself. I have to revise flashcards for catalytic processes and write new ones for particle measurement technologies.

🎧 : early summer - ryu fukui
remember why you started.
Had an exam last thursday and I'm superr tired! I have to retake it in October but I think I understand how to better study for this class now. October will be filled with exams so let's see how it goes. Spring is here so at least the city smells like flowers 🌺
I feel like I've been easing back into school nicely and my schedule is finally starting to settle into place (and fill up 😬).
I've really been trying to be intentional with my time and actions this first week so hopefully I can set habits that stick easier because they're associated with being here. Like, I'm working on not going on my phone in bed right before going to sleep or right after waking up. It feels like it shouldn't be as hard as it is! I'm also trying to stretch each night before bed, which I was really good about back in high school, but I let slip when I got to college. We'll see if I can stick with it! I thought about making a habit tracker, but I've found that I never actually feel like keeping the tracker updated and sometimes the idea of filling it out even keeps me from doing my habit, so I'm just going to mentally hold myself accountable.

I am currently translaiting a few texts for my latin seminar and I am also learning vocabulary. Have a nice sunday!📚✨
14 & 17 August 2022
Big fan of the lecture-free period right now
I bought lots of small stamps and ink pads today! Now I can just take printer paper, put little colourful plant pictures on it, and use that as wrapping paper for presents, which I think is very neat!! And then I made couscous salad with rocket leaves and goat cream cheese wrapped in bacon for dinner, which felt very fancy.
I'm also trying to go out more and have had a very fun time getting to know places in my city that I've never been to before (I found such a pretty park, you guys!!) and FINALLY getting back into bringing a book along and reading...

Found the new living room table cloth makes up for a great background for my pics – love how it completes the brown & green palette, and contrasts the hundreds (!) of sticky notes in my textbook. I really liked studying for this exam, but I sure don't miss having to memorize all of those dates!

31/50 days of productivity | 19.07.2022
one paper done, immediately doing the next was not the plan and it's not too much fun, but at least I made lots of progress today. and sitting at my desk with these beauties isn't too bad

The process of annotating Pride and Prejudice made me realise Darcy only smiles when talking to Elizabeth. That’s why she easily recognised his smile in his Pemberly portrait. 🥺💕 Now I’m super motivated to read the rest of Austen’s novels, I’m torn between starting Emma or S&S next!📚
New adventure: infectious diseases department
I'm in love with the new module, the beautiful view from the hospital, the teachers are kind besides I find it very interesting studying infectious diseases.
32/100 days of productivity today consisted of e&m homework + emails, interspersed with naps.
