people will see a fandom thing and be like "why isn't this a fanfic" "why is there no fanfic about this" my brother in christ, because you're not writing it
ive never been able to take "climb him like a tree" as a sexual innuendo seriously because i picture climbing a tree in my mind and then i picture a tall man in my mind and when i put those two things together im not seeing anything sexual. im seeing like. circus tricks.
I mean, it's very much giving circus tricks, but that's what's so great about these phrases: they allow you to express a sexual desire in a vivid but comedically non-sexy and unhinged way.
"I want to bite them and shake them like a chew toy."

for a moment, no one moves. your latent mom senses must have been awakened by this whole situation, because you hold a finger up in the bakusquad's direction just as denki opens his mouth.
"don't," you state, and his mouth snaps closed. sero snickers. you elect to ignore him. focus.
"family meeting in the kitchen," is apparently what you go with. "anyone not genetically related to either kid is not invited-" mina pouts. "however, if one of you could let aizawa know-"
"on it!" chirps mina, fingers already on the move.
"and the rest of the class-"
"hell yes," denki interrupts, pulling out his own phone.
"language," you reprimand absently. "oh, and maybe have momo come to the kitchen when she has a moment? we might need some kid things."
"no fair," mina's back to pouting. "i wanna come to the family meeting, too."
to your surprise, inko giggles. "auntie minaaaa, you know you can't come to family meetings." mina clasps a hand over her heart at the nickname, eyes wet, but inko is looking intently at bakugou, who just eyes her, face blank.
eventually, inko lets out a huff. "well, normally dad says-" inko contorts her face into a scowl and deepens her voice, "'i don't remember being related to any raccoons.'"
your eyes widen. you hear snorted laughter from the bakusquad under mina's faux-offended gasp.
midoriya chokes on nothing. "he does?" midoriya asks inko, bewildered, before turning to bakugou. "kacchan, that's so mean!"
bakugou goes to reply, probably to defend a statement that he didn't even say (yet?), but inko cuts him off. "yeah, dad, don't be so mean!" she giggles, like she wasn't the one who actually said it.
"okay, enough," you interrupt, before bakugou has a chance to try to explode inko. you hold out a hand, and inko skips over and slides her hand in yours, still grinning mischievously at bakugou.
you go to send pleading eyes to kiri, who is usually the most helpful in wrangling the bakusquad, only to find he's not looking at you. unsurprisingly, you follow his gaze to bakugou. surprisingly, bakugou is already looking at you, and you find yourself silently begging for backup from bakugou.
a beat passes.
"just go," bakugou sighs. "you can see the brats later."
"but what if they disapp-" mina tries to interrupt.
"then you'll see them in the future; just fucking go," bakugou glares at them.
"language," you add. bakugou turns his glare on you, but doesn't say anything before stalking off through the doorway.

soon, the five of you are in the kitchen. bakugou's arms are crossed as he leans against the counter next to the sink. midoriya, who had carried toshi in on his hip, sits at the kitchen table, toshi in his lap. inko had let go of your hand as soon as the two of you crossed the threshold, skipping over to a kitchen chair and climbing into the seat on her own. everyone's eyes are on you, again. (except for toshi's, who looks like he is starting to nod off in midoriya's arms.)
a moment passes in silence.
"i don't know," you admit, rubbing your face with your hand before grimacing, forgetting you had just gotten back from the gym. "i got here like a minute before you two did," your eyes move between bakugou and midoriya. "i need a shower, or at least some food."
"ooh, can we have onigiri for lunch, dad?" inko asks bakugou, kneeling up on the kitchen chair to better see over the table and looking at him with big green eyes. bakugou's eyes dart over to her, widening a bit for a moment at inko's excited expression, before snapping back to you.
"if you don't mind..." you add sheepishly. "i can start the rice while you shower first-"
"nah, i can shower while the rice is in the rice cooker." bakugou is already pulling the rice from the pantry.
you turn to offer the first shower to midoriya, only to find him already looking at you.
"you go first," he says, smiling. "and take your time; i'm good here," he adds gently, gazing down at toshi and giving him a light squeeze. toshi mumbles something that you don't catch, shifting a bit in midoriya's lap with his eyes closed.
your breath catches in your throat. you quickly avert your eyes to inko, who is watching midoriya and toshi. she looks content, happy even, but you feel the need to check in on her anyway.
"inko?" you ask, and she looks at you and hums. "are you good here? do you need anything before i go..?" you trail off, not sure what you're offering.
"no, i'm good!" she chirps, with a smile. "see you soon, mom!"
you nod, not sure you can speak over the growing lump of some sort of emotion swelling in your throat, before quickly making your retreat. a shower. a shower should help.
I fucking love when people give in-universe reasons for omegaverse shenanigans being a relatively new phenomenon and not just a fact of life. And this is probably my favorite out of all of them. Insane choice, and I want to kiss the author sloppy style about it.
As we all know, the Spanish Flu caused the omegaverse. Iconic.
fuck I wanna draw a mini comic of uraraka saying bakugou would make a good wife and pissing him off for my episode drawings but the two pages are already full…..sighs
Loid doesn't think Yor is odd because as far as he knows she supported herself and her brother by doing sex work at a young age of course she knows how to throw a punch and kick a man through a wall. That's why he never clocks her freaky strength or judges what he believes is her past. He knows that it's tough out there and that you gotta do what you gotta do to survive.
Yuri's weird possessive obsession with Yor makes sense when you realize that as far as he knows she supported them both as children by going off with creepy old men and coming home bruised and bloody. He thinks she was forced to become a sex worker because he wasn't strong enough to protect her. That's why he gets so weird whenever he thinks about her and Loid getting intimate and why in the beginning he feels like he needs to control her love life by setting her up with guys (that he's fully vetted and can easily blackmail if needed). To him, Loid is just the latest in a long line of creeps that he can't protect his sister from.
Meanwhile, Yor, bless her dumb jock heart, has no idea that people are making these assumptions about her and genuinely thinks that she is getting good grades in being a normal woman, a goal that is both possible to achieve and normal to want.
