"Did you even wonder who I used to be?!"
"You can't keep me trapped here anymore!"
"Don't trust them (Muse name)."
"I just want to go home."
"Admit it; I'm just an embarrassment to you!"
"You're the one good thing that came out of this mess; I always thought you were proud of that."
"I never asked it to be this way...I never asked to be made!"
"I'm sorry, I never wanted you to see this horrible place."
"But don't worry, everything's just fine now! It all worked out! We won! Then they shut this place down so the Earth would be safe from parasites like ME!"
"You even sound like her..."
"Then why don't you just leave!"
"I don't want to fight you!"
"I wouldn't want to fight me neither."
"I'm not going to let you stand there and remind me of everything I hate about myself!"
"Go away! I'm bad and you shouldn't be around me."
"You wanna pretend none of this ever happened! You think I'm just a BIG MISTAKE!"
"You're not the mistake; you're just a byproduct of a...big mistake."
"There are so many things out there that could hurt you; I should never have let one of them be me."
"I see a lot of things that could hurt you."
"I can't do this! Not again!"
"Get that thing away from me!"
"My ____...you're wonderful."
"We were right here, over 5000 years ago."
"Please understand; if we lose, we'll be killed. If we win, we can never go home."
"Why would I ever want to go home, if you're here?"
"Everything I ever did, I did for her."
"What would she/he think of me now?"
"Well, I think you're pretty great."
"I am done being everyone's prisoner; now you're my prisoner, and I'M NEVER LETTING YOU GO!"
"I never believed in this place."
"Sometimes, you just gotta know when to bail."
"I said, Leave me alone!"
"You'd stay for her!"
"Well what about ME, huh?! had someone who looked out for me until she started hanging out with YOU!"

I have nothing to fear-

The Deadly Nadder landed in front of the chief’s house, sniffing around as if she was looking for someone. Of course she was, since she hadn’t seen Astrid the whole day and wanted to fly with her favorite human, Stormfly had flown to Hiccup’s house to see if she was around, with no sucess.
Like for a starter!

—&& great head tilted in return, to likewise look at the smaller dragon with equal interest. Saphira knew she was not the last of her kind any longer, but to see one so wildly different in shape to herself was strange indeed. So many spikes and too few legs. Utterly peculiar. Though this island chain was so remote, perhaps the dragons here had merely adapted?
{ …Hello to you as well, Spiked One. }
Stormfly lifted the spikes of her head, a mist of confusion, surprise and curisity at the other blue dragon. Unlike the Nadder, she was bigger and seemed to be stronger too. She had never seen one like her in Berk before and wondered from what kind of land she had come from. Wings were streched for a moment, just so the scales of her back would move and change the saddle to a more confortable position.
“What’s your name?”
There is a colorful dragon perched on the ship's crows nest like it belonged there since always. Yep she didn't feel like flyinh away anytime soon.
Oh, it appears there is a dragon on his ship.
…Wait just a moment- THERE IS A DRAGON ON HIS SHIP?!?
Hook was at first concerned that they might be under attack shortly, but when the blue beast did not seem to set fire to anything, the idea of her breaking what she was sitting on became the greater concern.
Launching a cannonball at her surely would have taken care of the problem, but cannons were not made to aim straight up. Plus that could have made her angry if she didn’t die from the hit. So how in the world was he suppose to get a dragon to stop perching on one of his ship’s masts before the wood splinted under the beast’s weight?
“‘AY! GET OFF ME SHIP BEFORE YOU BREAK SOMETHING!!” Sure, try yelling, that always solves everything.
Of course the yelling caught the dragon’s attention, why wouldn’t it? It had been a while since she had been yelled at so it obviously took Stormfly out of her wonder about making a nest. Her gaze went down, right to the deck, the spikes of her head raising slightly at the sight of humanS, more out of pure curiosity than feeling threatened. She couldn’t see any weapons at least not from how high she was.
But Stormfly had been trained to follow orders so she did left the crow’s nest but instead of leaving the ship, the Deadly Nadder glided to the deck and landed in front of the captian to take a better look.
Now that she was closer, it would be possisble to see that there was a saddle attached to her back, what meant she belonged to someone. Good thing no one shot her down.
Respect Original Characters
If you disrespect OCs, you disrespect all authors.
OC stands for Original Character. Whether or not they exist in a fandom that is not their own does not matter. That’s why it’s not Original Story it’s Original Character. An OC is created solely off of the imagination of the author to carry out their purpose whether it be to love another character, to solve a conflict, or something else.
It is understandable if someone does not like a character that is a mary-sue or gary-stu. These are characters who are either a writer’s self-insert (which the reader wouldn’t know if they don’t know the author) or characters that seem too “perfect”. However, making mary-sues or gary-stus is a step in the OC creation process. These are typically made by beginning authors. They need time and people to help them develop their characters. No one is going to make a first draft of a character and call it a final, it takes time for characters to develop fears, strengths, weaknesses, hobbies, etc. It’s like revising an essay. You’ll move things around and change things until they’re nearly perfect, but nothing is ever “perfect”. You’ll ask your peers for their advice and to revise any potential errors. In the roleplaying world, a roleplay partner should point out any flaws or something that may improve a character. This is what makes characters less of a mary-stu or gary-stu. But the thing is, no one gives them a chance.
As an author in the roleplay community with several OC roleplay blogs, I myself and a few other OC authors have been having a hard time being accepted by those who play canon characters. This is why I’m writing this. Someone was bashing OCs in general, saying that they were an annoyance. Maybe it’s hard for some people to grasp, but canon characters are original characters. Someone created Tamaki Suoh, someone created Harry Potter, someone created Captain Jack Sparrow, but only when they got a popular movie, anime, book, etc. did they become what we know as “canon”. They’re still original to someone regardless of what people say. There are also canon characters that are more than perfect, but no one bashes them as much as people criticize original characters.
I’m not saying that there aren’t people who aren’t accepting of the creativity and imagination of Original Characters. It’s just that there isn’t enough people who are willing to look deeper into a character. Many criticize OCs before they really get to know them or their story. It’s disrespectful of people to do this without getting a good look. Maybe if people give more constructive criticism, OCs will receive a new makeover and the stereotype will be changed.
Let’s please get rid of the stereotype that all OCs are mary-sues or gary-stus. Because let’s admit it. There are people who will go onto an OCs page and say, “This character is an OC, they must suck,“ and not look into the backstory, the canons, or the intricate details that the author spend days, weeks, yearsputting into a character. And because of what? A lousy stereotype.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Don’t judge a character by their author. Don’t judge an author by their character. Help us develop our characters. Give us constructive criticism to make us better. Respect that we have flaws and that nothing is perfect.

The dragon turned her head, so she could take a better look at the blue reptile before her. It was a breed that she had never seen before and had the scent of humans. Was she like Nadder and the others? There was only way to know.
