Booked a trip
JUST BOOKED A TRIP TO DISNEY FOR NOVEMBER! I thought for sure that my last trip would be my last for a while but clearly I can not stay away. Super excited! I am also so excited because I will get to see Universal Studios NEW EDITION of HARRY POTTER WORLD
I hope everyone realizes how important this episode is.
My brother watches this show and showed me this clip. Brilliant! Some people do not understand the message behind this statement... its not that she hates being fat... she hates the way people think and treat fat girls. She has clearly embraced being fat. If not she would not have the confidence to hit on guys. Anyhow this is genius..I might have to fit this show on my tv lineup.
Prom Season!
This past Friday I did my baby cousin's (who is not a baby anymore) hair and make up for her prom. I was so honored to be able to do that for her. I remember her being a annoying toddler like it was just yesterday and now shes annoying teenager...well I am sorta kidding lol. We do fight like sisters but it is because we are sisters! Look how beautiful she looked.
Latest Trend
The big trend I have been noticing in plus size fashion is white. Who what have thought that plus size girls would be embracing the color white. I think it is amazing that we are not afraid to wear light colors anymore. Plus size fashion has really come along way and these new designers are really encouraging us fat girls to show off our curves and be happy with our bodies. I love it! You would never catch me wearing a whole white outfit before but now I am all for it. Why not!? I know I am beautiful and I can wear and rock anything I want to. As long as we keep this state of mind I can see bigger and greater things for the world of plus size fashion. Here are some great white/creme pieces that you might want to add to your closet.
Top row: all from ASOS
Second row: all from Forever21+
Third row: both from Monif C
Fourth row: both from Torrid
Two Daring Plus Size Collections
I am happy to announce that there are two plus size designers that have recently launched their collection online. Both collections push the mark on just playing it safe when it comes to plus size clothing. The first is Youtheary Khmer and my favorite piece in her collection by far is the white cropped lace top. This women knows her fashion trends and delivers. The second collection is Zelie for She the designer based this collection on the simplicity of Chanel. Her collections are always the bomb.com and my favorite piece is the tutu skirt. I just need to get my hands on some of these pieces. So what do you guys thinks about the collections?
P.S Did you notice what both collections have in common? ... Stay tune for my next blog on the new biggest trend.

Here’s a few more that are just as adorable.
Happy mothers day!
Love this! My three favorite fashion bloggers I follow standing against those who consider being fat as being a flaw. #everyBODYisflawless
Sunday April 20th - Hollywood Studios HAPPY EASTER!
We spent Easter at Hollywood Studios. Again we dedicated our time at the park more towards the little ones, so we did not do the bigger rides like Tower of Terror or Rock n' Roller coaster this time around. So it was easier for us to choose what we wanted for our Fastpass+ selections. Like I said in a previous post, this year we got introduced to Fastpass+ and to be completely honest I thought I was going to absolutely HATE IT! but I sorta of like it. We did not have to stress about rushing anywhere (like park opening) or rushing to grab Fastpasses. I still think it needs a lot work especially when it comes to those who are not staying at the park and whom do not have annual passes since they do have to their selections at the park. But for me and my family we have annual passes so we were allowed to do our selections 30 days before the day. In one hand I was kind of annoyed that I had to plan my days way ahead of time but I do have to say that I got to change majority of things when I needed to because of either time issue or change of plans which was awesome. The only time I had difficulty is of course trying to find a new day and time for the crazy busy TOY STORY MIDWAY MANIA. We did not really want to spend Easter at Hollywood studios. We thought it would be better at either Epcot or Magic Kingdom so we tried changing days earlier but were shocked that all the days were either booked or times were only available for late night so we just stayed with our original time. The one big advice I would give to those whom are going to Disney World is to book all your FastPasses afternoon hours. I find that this is the time when Disney rides are at its craziest. I feel like if you have to wait any lines its better of to do them either really early or really late. Well here some photos!
Ps. my son loves meeting characters.. lol even though from his pictures it does not really look like it. He freezes up and gets nervous. But yes if you caught that Woody is holding a pokemon ball... which is my son's. My son could not stop talking about Woody loving his pokemon! It was great.
My Disney Vacation
Saturday April 19th - Epcot
Epcot is the center of Flower and Garden Festival every year and I just happen to attend the last few years since I tend to go to Disney on April school vacation. This year they added a new topiary of Kermit and Miss Piggy, inspired by the recent released movie Muppets Most Wanted. Also inspired by the Muppets movie, a scavenger hunt was added just for the Flower and Garden Festival. We picked up a free clue packet at the World Showcase Plaza. The game has you choose from either Team Blue (Eagle) or Team Red.(Napoleon). The teams start at different ends of the World Showcase but both end up at American Pavilion and your focus is to find the famous villain of the movie Constantine. Clues led us to three checkpoints. Once solved we received a little special price and the activity was short enough that if we wanted to do both teams we could have. Another activity that I found fun at Epcot was an Easter Egg Hunt, were we had to find hidden Disney character eggs at each world in Epcot's World Showcase. First you had to purchase a map and stickers for $4.95 which was available at few places including Pin Central and Port of Entry. When you completed the map and placed all the character stickers in their locations you had to bring the map to Disney Traders for another special gift. Well here some of my photos!
I did not take these pics below. There just put on here to show you what I was writing about.

My Disney Vacation
Friday April 18th - Animal Kingdom
Sorry I have not posted all weekend. Again I was swamped with homework... the light at the end of the semester tunnel is getting closer and I just cannot wait! So the second day of our trip was spent at Animal Kingdom during the day and at night was spent at Magic Kingdom experiencing Wishes. Animal Kingdom was a blast! We always finish this park a lot faster then the rest of them. So we usually choose to do Animal Kingdom one of the first days of our visits just to be able to ease into all the walking and other experiences that can be quite tiring if not deciding to take things easy. As I said the other day on my first vacation post we decided to try something new this time and dine in at some of the restaurants that Disney has to offer. The second restaurant we made reservations for was Tusker House at Animal Kingdom. We had lunch their on the 18th and again it was a buffet setting with character experience. I actually liked this restaurant a lot more than I liked Chef Mickey's and I had heard about Chef Mickey before and never about Tusker House. The feel of the restaurant was beautiful. It is located in Africa and of course has the African theme throughout with some African and American food choices. And the characters again were amazing and spent good time with all the kids and table their at the restaurant. The one big disappointment about our visit to Animal Kingdom was that Festival of Lion King was temporarily close. Everyone who knows me and knows my obsession about Disney knows that Festival of Lion King show is by far my favorite so you could imagine how sad I was. I can not believe I did not know about this but I did my research when I got back from vacation to see why this was and it seems like Disney World announced on D23 Expo in Japan this past October that they are creating an Avatar Land. So the speculation is that they are moving Lion King into Africa and converting this Camp Minnie-Mickey into it. Disney World of course has not confirmed this but my guess is that the Avatar Land would be in Animal Kingdom and Camp Minnie-Mickey would be the only place in the park I could see it being since really the only that was left in that area was Lion King. Well I still have not seen the movie Avatar (I know crazyy!) so I obviously do not care for Avatar Land (at least not at this moment) and I hope they bring back Festival of Lion King. I did talk to the man blocking the entrance to Camp Minnie and Mickey and he did say the show would be back this June so will just have to wait and see! So here are some pictures...

My Disney Vacation
Thursday April 17th - Magic Kingdom
We headed to Magic Kingdom our first day and decided to focus on Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. I am serious when I say I have lost count on the number of times I have been to Disney. So our trip was truly focused on my two sons and my nephew. We also did something different this time around. We ate at few of the Disney restaurants to see if we were missing anything. All the restaurants were buffets and character settings. The first restaurant was on the 24th. We ate at Chef Mickey's, it is located in the Contemporary Hotel and it was alright. I was not as crazy about it as I thought I was going to be. The food was alright, and I just thought it would feel more like a restaurant. It felt a little tight but of course like every Disney employee I have encountered everyone was super nice. The characters were awesome and spend plenty of time with each table. Here are some pictures of that day.
