Netanyahu is now admitting what the intention was all along, the complete takeover of Gaza. Displaced people are already forced into only 25% of Gaza, and now Israel wants to reduce it to 0%. The Israeli settler-colonial project can only be complete through the genocide of Palestinians. They have been destroying infrastructure, killing the environment, killing the people, starving the children.
The longer the blockades are in place, the higher the cost of everything sores. Price gouging of medicine and food is at an all-time high as thousands starve. On top of this, financial transactions coming into Palestine are charging higher commission rates. They are now charging 55% commission.
This means that you could donate $100 USD, and a person in Palestine will only receive $45, and that $45 can be the cost of just a single kilo of flour. Do you understand? The entire structure of global capitalism is enabling the starvation of Gaza.
I haven't eaten anything since yesterday. That's right. I'm tired and starving. I came here to ask for your help. Please help me and donate to me. I really need help and I'm suffering. Please donate.
Nader is suffering from hunger and he has not eaten food since yesterday. He needs help. He has been verified by @gazavetters. He is number 4. Please donate to him now.

I don't know how long this will last, but the situation here in Gaza is getting worse every day after the war between Iran and Israel. I forgot about Gaza. No one talks about us anymore, and the news doesn't mention us. All that is being discussed is Iran, Israel, and America. It's as if they forgot that the main problem is Gaza.
Please don't leave Nader alone. Nader is suffering greatly, especially since the situation is getting worse after the Iran-Israel war. Please donate to him and help him here.
It is very difficult to describe what I am going through here. It is very dangerous and very bad. I ask you, my friends, whoever can help me, to donate to me and my family. Please, we need help and support, please.
Please, please, if you can, please do not forget Nader and do not forget what he is going through. Help Nader by donating and participating. Please, every donation helps a lot.

ok last thing. but what people fundamentally need to get through their heads is the significance of gaza fundraisers not being the same as like mutual aid when you're helping someone get groceries, because it is a genocide. there is insane deliberate scarcity and prices are unmanageable, because there is nowhere nearly enough for everyone, so only people who can pay can eat. and what positioning individual fundraisers as the only course of action does is quite simply give a tiny percentage of random people whose fundraisers take off the ability to pay those prices while thousands of others can't. and every one of those thousands of people without a fundraiser is suffering through the same inconceivably horrific reality. it is giving a few completely desperate people out of hundreds of thousands a slightly more favorable position in a horrific war economy of imposed scarcity. and what grassroots community kitchens do is try to mitigate in some small way that inconceivable hierarchy of who can pay and who can't, by stretching ingredients as far as they can last to cook meals at large scale and give them out at no cost. and obviously people are still going to send money to their friends and families because this is hell what else are we supposed to do but please just think about that before promoting endless individual fundraisers as somehow the most ethical way to help
Operation Olive Branch has a spreadsheet dedicated to mutual aid, local distro, community kitchens, etc. in Gaza.
This is a good place to start if seeking to donate to a community resilience action. Just contact the group(s) directly to make sure they are still active. Life in Gaza and Palestine is full of uncertainty.
I could be either oldest or third oldest depending on how you slice things, so I know this isn't always cut and dry. But what position are you and do you think it effects how you interact with people in general?
And, while you are here, please share and donate for Mahmoud and his family. He's been trying to raise money since August and still hasn't reached $10,000, dispite being on here night and day trying to get help for his family.

I know I've said this a hundred times but if you're worried about palestinian fundraisers being scams at least consider donating to MSF. It's a highly reputable organization which has broken its long-standing neutrality to denounce Israel in front of the UN. Here's all the aid MSF is providing to Gazans (documentation available in multiple languages).
Since I know no one's gonna click on that link, here's a quick overview of some of the various ways in which Medicins Sans-Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders) is aiding Palestinians
- Since Oct 7 2023, MSF provided for 14000 hospital admissions and 7500 surgeries, on top of treating 27500 people for physical violence causes, treating 34000 people for diarrhoea (very common condition in Gaza currently due to the sanitary crisis) and holding 18000 mental health sessions.
-MSF is currently operating in two hospitals, eight healthcare facilities and fifteen mobile clinics, providing surgical support, wound care, physiotherapy, maternity and paediatric care, basic healthcare, vaccinations, and mental health services among other things (more info on the treatments provided by each facility on the link above). Additionally, they provide training for psychological, medical and paramedical volunteers, and donate first aid kits to various camps (info on the specific locations on the link above).
- Via their partnership with the Palestinian Agriculture and Development Association, they're building latrines for over 30000 people in six camps, distributing hygiene kits to 2400 families, and ensuring clean drinking water for 25000 people, on top of equipping a camp for 70 families with accessible sanitary facilities for disabled people.
- Since October 7, 2023, eight of their medics have died. Seven of them are remembered here, and their latest, Hasan Suboh, in this statement that denounces Israel's allies for disregarding the fact that the protection of humanitarian workers is not being guaranteed as they claim.
MSF does not only stand for Palestine in humanitarian terms, it also does so politically to an extent, holding Israel and its allies accountable for sabotaging ceasefire negotiation attempts.
MSF also provides aid to Sudan, the Democratic Republic Of Congo, Haiti, Ethiopia and 76 other countries.
To better maximize your donation to MSF, I advise keeping an eye out for donation doubling and tripling periods, which occur fairly often and can be checked on their website.
Today we took our little brother to the hospital because he suffers from an infection that affects his breathing and causes him pain. I hope that every living conscience will help us save our young son’s life and donate any amount you can.
Unfortunately, there is no treatment in the hospital for my little. Help us before it is too late.
I’m reaching out for help. I launched a GoFundMe campaign a while ago, but unfortunately, it hasn’t been successful. So far, we’ve only raised 242€, and that’s not enough to support my family during this tough time.
We are in a critical situation and need assistance quickly. Every euro counts and will help us get through this crisis. If you can contribute or share the campaign link with your friends, I would be incredibly grateful.

I do not know if polls really help with ‘engagement’ like the trends seem to suggest, but either way, it’s something fun before asking you to hear me out about something serious.
I have been chatting with Dina Alanqar @zinaanqar.
She is currently in Gaza with her husband Ahmed and their four young children, the youngest only born in June. Like so many others, they lost their home in the north and have been displaced many times since. They’ve been struggling with lack of healthcare, clean water, hardships that I can hardly even imagine.
Their family needs funds for travel and accommodations when the opportunity to leave Gaza comes, and for their survival until then.
The GFM has been vetted, listed here on @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi verified fundraiser doc, at 264.
We need to show up for one another in love and solidarity, especially amidst this genocide. Please donate if you can, and at least share if you cannot. They are close to their goal!

Learn about a multistate outbreak of E. coli infections linked to burgers.
october 22nd, 2024
the united states centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) has linked a deadly e. coli outbreak to mcdonald's quarter pounder burgers.
right now, 49 infections have been linked to this outbreak. this includes 10 hospitalizations and 1 death. these numbers are expected to rise, and only represent infections that have been linked to this outbreak. the CDC expects the true number of infections to be much higher, because most people recover from e. coli without medical intervention within around a week. and it can take weeks for a confirmed case to be officially associated with an outbreak.
it typically takes e. coli 3-4 days after exposure to cause illness. in some cases, such as those already associated with this outbreak, e. coli can cause death or disability.
so far, the cases associated with this outbreak were from september 27th to october 11th, 2024. infections may have occurred before or after this date range.
the ten states with confirmed cases so far (this list might expand, do NOT rely on this list to keep you safe): wisconsin, oregon, montana, wyoming, utah, colorado, nebraska, kansas, missouri, iowa.
mcdonald's has pulled the ingredients for quarter pounders in some states while they investigate, and quarter pounders may not be sold in those states for a while as a result.
as with all foodborne illness outbreaks, if you think you are affected by this, talk to your healthcare provider. even if just to record and report that you got sick.
as of when I am posting this, it is not yet known for sure which mcdonald's ingredient is contaminated, but the FDA thinks it might be onions. there is currently no list of which specific mcdonald's locations received the suspect onions, or what other restaurant chains, if any, also get their onions from the same source.
this outbreak investigation is ongoing and moving quickly. there will be better answers and more information soon.
It is a shame to see where personal interests have more importance than many lives who are surviving an accelerated genocide. So many people overlook the horror and violence. The illness and injuries. The cries, and screams. It makes them feel guilty and uncomfortable. So they donate to AO3 and read their fanfic or buy the latest game for a franchise. But you should feel guilty. You should feel uncomfortable!
So please stop thinking about yourself for 1 day. Show your support to Mohammed Al-Habil (@alhabil). He is a 30 year old entrepreneur and he is raising 3 young children, Ahmed (8), Osama (6), and Mira (4) with his kind wife, Aya. He is also looking after his elderly parents who are chronically ill with diabetes and high blood pressure.
Let's help him achieve the short-term goal of 36K! The funds raised will help him purchase a tent since the one before has been flooded due to the heavy rain. He also need to purchase medication for his parents as well as for his kids since they are in contact with scabies to this day!
You can match me! I've given €5, but you're more than welcome to give more.

This is the money which was raised in a day for Ao3. This is the spare income contributed by a collective of people to fanfic site, so that they can be a board member. $130k USD and I am sure a good chunk of it came from tumblr users too, cause of the way we lose our minds on here when ao3 is down.
The centering of one's own comfort is such a tremendous thing, that it can make us disregard a genocide. It can make us forget that not even a year ago, a member chose to leave ao3 because the site apparently took an issue with the chant "from river to the sea". It can make us accuse flesh and blood people who are trying their best to survive under a genocide, of being scammers while pouring money into a site which will probably just sit on it. I am not at all surprised to find that what is a scam and what is not, is intrinsically linked to the factor of personal comfort.
While op (le-bjorn) has deleted the doc containing receipts of otw participating in genocide apologia, they still have links to compilation of incidents which all point to how racist the platform truly is. All this and still in 2 years time, ao3 has collected a total of over $250k donations. This is disturbing when you think about how many of the fandom bloggers have repeatedly expressed discomfort at having to witness the suffering of Gazans, before finally choosing to go completely mask off and are now leading smear campaigns against fundraisers- their proof being the broken English and reused template of sending asks.
I am just so tired guys. Idk what to tell you, but where this stupid site could raise close to 200k in 2 days this year, a writer in Gaza has been struggling to raise even a hundred dollar in a day. Siraj has received only TWO DONATIONS in 12 hours!! He just needs $145 CAD or $104 USD to reach his current short term goal.
So please BOOST and DONATE. It is honestly so painful to see how much he is struggling, when I know that every single time he feels ashamed of begging people to care. He is a writer and he tells stories but every potential he ever had, has been destroyed in this genocide. Right now he is desperately trying to protect his family of 23 from winter and death.

With your help Siraj has reached 91k, but still his hardships are far from over. Preparing for winter costs a fortune. Winter clothes are very expensive and with 24 people, it will definitely be difficult. On top of that Siraj has to buy nylons to cover up the broken windows of the apartment he has managed to rent. So please keep donating and boosting. We are only $363 CAD ($262 USD) away from our next goal.
man i don't know how to say this but gazans here are risking their lives to make posts asking for help. they are asking for you to contribute a small amount of money to buy food or medicines or get shelter.
whether we like it or not, we are complicit in this genocide. either because of our silence, or because our tax money if being used to bomb them. i thought that people would be more eager to help gazans, trying to 'reverse' the damage somehow.
contrary to what i thought, people are moving on. they're moving on from the al-shifa hospital strike, they're moving on from refugee camp massacres and from school bombings, they're moving on from dead children and orphaned children.
please don't be indifferent. help my friend alaa amsse [ @alaakh998 ]. she urgently needs money to buy a new tent. she needs medicine for her sick son. her tent was flooded and she needs to buy supplies. please please help her if you have the means to. her fundraiser has been verified by 90-ghost and the butterfly project (#307).
Today is october 7th officially marking 365 days, 1 year, of the most well recorded genocide in history; of an occupation of a people which has been ongoing for 76 years. An entire year of constant israeli bombardment. Hundreds of thousands killed and missing. All the while, the people with the most power to stop the genocide continue to support and defend the politicians carrying out the slaughter.
Yet, it is also a year since the Palestinian resistance definitively proved to the world that israel is not only not the all-knowing state entity many believed nor that they were invincible or undefeatable. Over the course of the year, the resistance and its allies in Lebanon and Yemen have handed out defeats to not just israel but the west lead by the united states as well proving that those institutions and militaries are not invincible.
In israel itself, tens of thousands of bsuinesses are closing or have closed; its ports are under blockade; the settlers are fighting amongst themselves or leaving; it is a settler colony beginning to buckle under the simultaneousforces of its internal contradictions and of the Palestinian resistance. No doubt the struggle for liberation and against settler colonialism will continue until all the contradictions are resolved just as it were it rhodesia and south africa.

Urgent Appeal to Support My Family in Gaza: Critical Need as Winter Approaches
I invite you to join this humanitarian campaign to support my family in Gaza, who are facing extremely harsh conditions following the recent war. The situation has worsened with the arrival of winter. It is a dire time, and families like mine in Gaza cannot survive without your support.
link GFM
Our Story: From Stability to Tragedy
My family of ten lived a simple, stable life before the war took everything from us. After the bombing, our home was completely destroyed, and we were forced to live in a tent in Deir al-Balah, facing unbearable conditions.
- **My father** suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, struggling to receive regular treatment.
- **My mother** also suffers from hypertension, enduring pain in these harsh conditions.
In addition to our material losses, five members of my family were seriously injured, and we lost our sole source of income after the destruction of the stores that sustained us.
My Brother Ahmed and His Children: A Growing Struggle
My brother Ahmed lives in northern Gaza, where he is facing extreme difficulties in providing food and medical care for his three children:
- **Amir** suffers from a skin condition caused by the severe living conditions in the tent and the extreme heat. He needs specialized medical care.
- **Muhammad**, who has polio, is seeing his condition worsen due to the lack of proper medical treatment.
Winter Makes Things Worse
With winter setting in, the hardships have only intensified. The tent we live in does not provide enough protection from the freezing cold and rain, and we lack the essential winter clothing. We urgently need:
- **Winter clothes** for all family members to keep warm.
- **A new, sturdier tent** to protect us from the cold and harsh weather.
- Along with **medicines, food, and medical care**, which remain crucial for survival.
How You Can Make a Difference
Families like mine in Gaza depend on your generosity and support. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in providing:
- Warm winter clothes and blankets to keep us warm.
- A new tent to shelter us from the cold and rain.
- Urgently needed medicines and medical care.
- Food and safe shelter.
- Hope for relocation to a safer place where we can receive proper medical care when the border opens.
Our Story in Pictures: From Life to Destruction
The attached photos tell the story of my family before and after the war. The first photo shows our peaceful life at home before the bombing. The second photo reveals the destruction that left us homeless and struggling to survive. With winter here, life has become even more challenging.
Your Support Can Make a Real Difference
In this critical time, we need your help. Your support can change our lives and help us endure. Your donations won’t only provide basic needs for my family, but they will also help other families in Gaza facing the same suffering. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
