Hunter Harris Unpacks Succession’s Season 3 Finale, Vacationing In Italy With The Roys, And Going Team Tom

On seeing and meeting with Jeremy Strong on the set of the season three finale (approximately 38:40 – 39:30):

I don’t think you meet Jeremy Strong and he’s like, awful to be around and terrible. He’s just like totally nice and cool to talk to and he makes a lot of references and is definitely very educated and very curious about a lot of things—but otherwise I think he’s just really dedicated to the work. Like very intensely dedicated to the work and will think a lot about every small decision, every big decision, and that’s what I came away with the most.

Even watching him in that scene, in the finale scene, he was the only actor I saw continuously go to the video village where the producers and the showrunner and creator, Jesse Armstrong, were to check-in and ask questions. Not questions like ‘am I doing good or bad,’ but just like, ‘oh, do you think maybe I should try this, maybe I should try that.’ And I thought that was interesting to observe.
