Little update on my end

The universe works in mysterious ways. I am now moving very soon to my next phase. My next job and next place.

I'm excited to be setting up my space for the deities and entities I worship and work with.

In just a few weeks, I'll be there! And I feel those letters have paid off for me.

Writing to Asmodeus and Lucifer

So I decided to write a letter to Lucifer and Asmodeus to discuss my manifestations and where I really want to go in my life. This also included my path in witchcraft.

Recently looking into darkness, mysteries, and the unknown in the Universe and myself have been brought up multiple times by my team. So as I wrote the letter, I focused on how I would start this. And how the shadow work I've been doing can be beneficial to this path.

From there, I started to look at my life. Sure right now I am not at the job I wanted nor have my own place. But we discussed what do I really want. And in all honesty, I just wanted a comfortable career where I am in a town that I am comfortable. I learned where I had my masters that I preferred smaller towns or smaller cities to large ones. I did feel more anxious in large cities as well as not really myself.

So part of the letter we worked on manifestations. How to believe that I deserved these manifestations when I write them. Because there are times where I began to worry or delve into negative self talk.

And using tarot to identify what I should talk about, with whom, or why I should talk about it was very helpful in understanding some deeper things.

Deity, Entity, and Self Letter Interaction ~ Shadow Self

So last night I ended up writing to my shadow self and Asmodeus. This post will focus on my shadow self. But before that, I did a reading to figure who to write to. The deck I used is the Season of the Witch: Samhain Edition since this deck seemed a perfect time to use it.

The first card was the Greet the Darkness card which describes it as the shadow self and being able to greet that part of you. Like my previous post from the new moon, this could be a start to incorporating my shadow self with me.

So I'll be honest. I wasn't sure how to start the letter. I have written to my inner child and inner teen before to get a better understanding. But I looked back at the card and "Greet the Darkness" again. So what did I do? Greet my shadow self.

So I played the same song I used when I wrote to my inner child and inner teen self. Love like you. I took a moment to discuss my understanding. How I knew certain things I acted out was to protect me in the shadow self way.

I also meditated during it. Which helped me see a shadow version of me. It did look like a shadow but there was some red wisps around. It reminded me of anger. But just faintly around. So I took a moment to focus on an incident where my shadow self acted out and I explained how she acted in a way to protect and was due to the trauma. The shadow self I saw open her eyes and saw blue eyes looking back very sky blue eyes.

While I understood this would not be the last letter nor the last time I spoke with my shadow self, I offered to start working together. To start being able to balance each other. And I felt good about reaching out. And as I signed off, I felt my chest lighten and felt content.

What I did for New Moon Ritual 9/25/22

So again I'm still at my parents place so I'm quite limited to what I can do. But I felt like doing some readings to see about the new moon and then spend the night writing a letter to Lady Hekate.

So what did my reading show for the new moon?

So my cards stressed the idea of combining my light and shadow side and this new moon will kinda push me to do so. By looking at the "bad and ugly" parts of myself with love and care.

I will also receive some clarity this month on numerous things. Whether that is spiritually or physically or even both. There will also be an alignment to my goals and purposes in life.

So my letter to Hekate started talking about the new moon reading. I came to terms that my goals and purposes could be more than one. Meaning there's aspects that I enjoy that could lead to fulfillment with my purpose. I used the example of wanting to find a scientist job to help with the environment but also wanting to write and publish stories because I can share my universes with everyone and secondly, pursue some witchcraft to help others learn.

Which I felt Hekate was smiling softly when I came to terms with multiple purposes. I feel like she will be helping me understand these sides to me.

So we'll see what direction my path will lead between jobs, side things, as well as enjoying where I'm at in life.
