At the end of Season 2, when Aziraphale is about to follow Metatron out of the bookshop, he starts moving towards the window where he can see Crowley and says “Actually, I think I’d-“ and then stops, and immediately goes with Metatron anyway.

We see Aziraphale change his mind. He doesn’t want to leave Crowley behind. He was about to go reconcile with Crowley, but for some reason, he doesn’t.

Did the Metatron rewrite that moment in the Book of Life to reshape reality to his own will?

Basically the synopsis is Peony (pink) lives with her parents Yelena and Bethany (beth for short. names self explanatory) but she flees her abusive home and is presumed missing w her assistant, Pearl. She becomes Rose and meets everyone. She eventually dies in childbirth with Steven, Greg being his main caregiver with the help of the 'Gems'

Steven and Connie go thru elementary and middle school together but after Steven suffers a pretty bad injury, and he's pulled from Greg's care and given to the 'Davenports' when he's 14. Connie feels abandoned and grows depressed w/out him :(

Winnifred (White) owns a modeling agency, with Steven becoming their top child model, meaning he's relatively popular as he grows up. Very pretty face and soft build. Steven is homeschooled until he has a mental health scare and refuses to get any sort of treatment unless he's able to return to public school for his senior year, which is granted.
