Nah bc I’ve never hated the ending of a show/movie so viscerally that I had to disregard it entirely as canon. Like I can take a lot of shit from writers and I’ve been doing that for as long as I’ve been consuming media but go3 really pushed my buttons so far to the point where I finally went “well you’re definitely feeding me bullshit and I don’t want it.” And honestly it’s SO freeing to not try to convince myself into liking something that I just disagree so heavily with. Yeah, a part of me wishes I liked it but I think I’d be so much worse off because it’s just… so impossibly bad. I just sat there watching the end credits roll and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing on my screen because they gave me 90 minutes of actual NOTHING. For 90 minutes I let them into my house to do some final renovations and they literally fucked around with the precious time I gave them by watching paint dry and making holes in my walls and to top it all off they said “oops we messed up your house, we can’t reverse it” and burnt my house to the ground. I can’t take that seriously for even a second and I’m not going to lmfao

A post-canon South Downs sickfic in which Crowley comes down with the Black Plague. It's still a WIP at the moment (as in, not all is posted yet). Rated E. It started, as many such cases often did, as a tickle. Crowley woke up feeling it in the back of his throat the next morning and immediately knew he was fucked. Not actually, yet; sure, the frog that had leapt and lodged itself between his tonsils and larynx was annoying and scratchy, but he could still ignore it. He told himself he would find a way to burn it out before it could set up shop. Yes, he was aware that particular statement went directly against his cold-bloodied reality, yes, that included keeping Aziraphale in the dark about the whole thing and no, Crowley wasn’t prepared to talk about it. Aziraphale and Crowley moved to their cottage in the South Downs a little over a year ago, and think themselves out of trouble. They’re wrong. Six thousand years is a long time for everything not to happen at least once; and it’s all Crowley’s fault.

Anyway the Good Omens social media crew can try to convince us that the lights are off and the bookshop is closed.

But the bookshop in my brain is still open. Only on weekends, or the occasional open stint on a quiet midweek day or two, but Whickber Street still bustles around it. It still exists, and is still tended to by a fussy, soft bookseller and his angular, hot headed, but incredibly loving husband. No one was invited to the wedding, needless to say. They just kind of showed up wearing rings one day, and no one had ever thought to ask when they tied the knot, or in fact if they ever even did.

And within its walls are a stock room, still painted yellow; a bedroom, now shared by a snoozing demon and a reading angel, on the weekend and those hazy midweek days; and a desk which never gets dusty or messy.

There’s also a cottage in the South Downs, with a large green house and vegetable plots which miraculously never deplete, and roses which bloom year round; there’s an armchair which has a worn down left arm cushion, from where a demon drapes himself over his angel more often than he sits on the matching chair across from it; a bedroom, shared, again; and the sounds of two lives well lived, infinite happiness and love beyond measure echoing within its floral, wallpapered walls.

Sometimes there’s still a free table at The Ritz just for them. The piano plays a familiar song softly, in time with the song of a Nightingale, and two immortal beings toast to a World which never closes or goes away, which never shuts, and which never ends.

my number one advice for parents is to listen to your children tbh. and i dont just mean listening to their problems i mean like. when your kid recites the plot of a movie youve already seen or your tells you about what they did at school today or wants to show you their roblox gameplay. youve gotta be invested in knowing your kid as a person or why are you even doing the whole parenting thing.
