with a gentle laugh that melted into the sounds of the tea kettle, maryanne covered her mouth to avoid showing the other her mouthful of poundcake. “ no, it’s cool ! ” she replied with a reassuring sort of laugh. “ some people don’t know the difference between hot cocoa and hot chocolate. ” one was made with water, the other, milk. a quick swallow, then she continued, “ i have a class with a girl who insists that’s the best way to have it. but - ugh, blech ! milk all the way. ” but that was just her inner child talking.

THE EXPLANATION WAS SWEET, no patronizing notes hidden in the words, and maryanne’s soft laughter put ramona at ease after whatever embarrassment her self-admitted cluelessness had wrought. ❛ ohhh, milk is definitely so much better ! my mother always makes hers with water -- gosh, i still do not understand how she thought that tasted good. ❜

whose the big spoon and little spoon ? ramona n pippa, respectively ! ramona loves the feeling of, like, holding peoplefavorite non-sexual activity ? ohh they’d like testing those silly ‘ 5 - minute - diy ‘ things, especially the cooking ones. they usually go wrong.favorite sexual activity ? tbh i have no clue. ramona knows like 0.2 things about sex, totalfirst kiss ? it would be like after a few months of just like getting close and hanging out and being dumb friends, and then ramona would probably ( definitely ) be like ‘ yo wanna smooch ‘ bc she has a lot of feelings, always, n thinks kissing is the Answerfavourite make-out spot ? ??? it is a mysteryfirst time ? ...family... ramona does Not know what sex is...does anyone catch them in the act ? nahdoes anyone know about them ? ramona wouldn’t be too #stresst if people did so probablydo people approve of them ? they better. these girls are angelswho uses all the hot water ? definitely ramona. her hair isn’t rapunzel length, but it’s a formidable force that must be tamed carefully and over the course of half an hourmost trivial thing they fight over ? ramona,, like,,, doesn’t know things, but she insist that she does, so just about anything they’d fight over would be trivial bc ramona is stubborn for no reasonwhat they fight over most ? ramona likes to commit to big decisions even if she’s not sure about them, so i feel like they’d fight more bc pippa’s like ‘ ramona ur obviously stressed out !!! ‘ and ramona is all ‘ no i’m not i’m fine !!!! ‘ then repeat that indefinitelywho does most of the cleaning ? probably pippa. it’s generally an even split, but ramona can be pretty prone to leaving messes aroundwho steals the blankets ? pippa, i think ? ramona doesn’t like having a lot of blankets bc she’s warm so she wouldn’t really need to steal anywho leaves their stuff around ? ramona. we stan a messy art studentwho remembers anniversaries ? they both would, but ramona loooves making anniversaries into a Whole Thingwho cooks normally ? ramona is trying to teach herself a bunch of different recipes, so she ends up cooking even if no one even wants to eat yethow often do they fight ? not very often, especially about serious things. they definitely could get into the occasional bickering match, but that’s more playful teasing than actual fightingwhat do they do when they’re away from each other ? she texts pippa exhaustive updates on how her day is going, always. but it’s updates like ‘ this girl in my 3d modeling class definitely just had a whole entire jar of like... straight up mayonnaise in her purse ‘nicknames for each other ? ramona’s calls pippa cheerio sometimes, bc she thinks the connection to ‘ pip pip and cheerio ‘ is funny. idk what pippa’d call her though !who is more likely to pay for dinner ? ramona, she rlly likes to spoil her friends !! her parents have a lot of money and like to spoil her so she passes it alongwho steals the covers at night ? would once again be pippa. ramona overheats very easily if she has too many layers on her, so if anything she’s probably shoving the covers onto pippa what would they get each other for gifts ? pippa seems like she’d be good at cute, personal gifts like ‘ oh here’s a candle of a scent i remember you saying you liked ‘ whereas ramona means well but her gifts are a little weird, like, ‘ hey i saw this snowglobe at the gift shop and there’s a baby turtle that lights up in it and it made me think of you ‘who made the first move ? ohhh this is tough.. probably pippa ?who remembers things ? ramona has a mind like a steel trapwho started the relationship ? probably pippa again. ramona can be assertive if she tries, but she’s also pretty bad at communicating and has like. lots of issues w/ people.who cusses more ? idk how much pippa swears but ramona will swear one ( 1 ) time a day and then she has hit her quota so she’s easy to beatwhat would they do if the other one was hurt ? they’d both be protective ! but ramona would try to fight whatever hurt pippa even if it was a pebble in the street so like calm down blondiedo they get married ? probably not but they definitely have looked at wedding dresses together just for funsies

— “ you’ll get it soon enough, i’m sure, ” pippa replied with a grin. “ and then i won’t be afraid to be seen with you in public. ” she poked at her friend playfully before taking a sip of her own drink.

THE APPROPRIATE RESPONSE, obviously, is to pout like a child. the corners of her lips turning up betrays the expression, but, really, her point is made. sinking further into her seat, ramona scrubs a hand over her face in an attempt to quell her most recent round of giggles.
